The Wicked Botanist — Local services in Bethlehem

If you haven’t dropped into this store yet, do you really love plants?! The Wicked Botanist is hands down one of my favorite places to visit, and if I lived any closer, I’d live in a jungle and be broke at the same time!

The shop is easy to find and so cute inside! Dawn (the owner) has some of the most gorgeous and hard to find plants around. You name it, she probably had it! There is such a great variety to fit any ones budget. Her dragon scale alocasias are to die for! They also care miss poles, trellis, sage, reusable bags, macrame hangers, and more plant accessories.

Dawn and her husband are also extremely welcoming to each and everyone who comes in their doors. My 4 daughter even walked out of there smiling ear to ear. This place was welcoming and relaxed. I was buying the very first house plants I've owned in decades. The proprietor helped me choose, and sold me a water indicator as well. Then she told me how to care for my new plants. The proprietor even talked me out of a fairly expensive plant for my first run saying that I should wait till I have a little experience before buying a very expensive plant. That impressed me the most. Rather than selling me something I'm not ready to take care of she actually talked me out of it until a later date when I have had a little experience with plants. I would like to accumulate more indoor plans and would definitely come here to purchase them and get advice on how to care for them. I loveeee everything about this plant shop all the way from the plants to people that own it! Any time I have a question about anything plant related, Dawn is always there to find a solution and give advice. Her store is AMAZING, there's so much to choose from (it is honestly hard to walk out of the store with just ONE plant if you really love plants haha) and she always knows what people are going crazy for in the plant community. There's lovely homemade crafts from friends that she knows that she displays in her store to buy which is super nice! Macrame hangers, soil mixtures, plant treatments, trellises, everything plant related is all there! Definitely stop by if you make a trip out to the Bethlehem, PA area!
