Great pasta in a charming atmosphere. Look at all the cute tableware! The main appeal is the handmade pasta. You’re missing out if you order one of the pastas that come dried in a box. Their handmade pasta dough has lots of gluten development, leading to a smooth silken texture and an al dente bite. The mushroom ravioli were amazing, each bite filled with a rich, thick brown sauce that coats your mouth in an earthy umami. I do wish the Bolognese itself had more complexity, though. It came across as simply a meat paste with tomatoes. The octopus was tender and well-charred, though I wished it had less salt and more lemon. The cake obviously came frozen in a box but it tasted premium. It’s better than most cakes in the area, and the markup is fair for a restaurant setting. Their tiramisu’s also no slouch, more light and fluffy rather than thick and custardy, and not too sweet. I can see myself going here when I crave cake.

WOW!!! The way dinning should be done! A comfortable dining room with 11 tables. You need reservations, I’m positive that you can’t just walk-in. However the payoff is BEYOND WHAT YOU COULD IMAGINE! The lovely Hannah was our amazing server. She had extensive knowledge about the menu (Her personality was very warm). Best of the best! It is BYOB & the kitchen & staff move/work so efficiently! Bravo! Big point for me!! The ladies room says everything! When you see it you know “if the restroom is this nice…” Trust me and just do it, wait however long it takes for a reservation. The salads/apps/entrees were all perfectly spaced out & so delicious but not overbearing that you can’t eat what’s in front of you.

Tre Scalini is GREAT. As someone who used to live in Italy, I don't really like going to Italian restaurants, but I'd heard good things about Tre Scalini and wanted to give it a try. It's a quaint BYOB and mamma mia, does it deliver on the food! We had 2 appetizers: the barbecued octopus and the pear with gorgonzola and they were both fantastic. I then had the rigatoni alla norma which had an amazingly well-flavored sauce, and my fiance had one of the specials that night, which was a seafood cannelloni-- it was also great, but I was happy to like my chosen dish even more. This is all to say, if you're in the area and can get a reservation (space is definitely limited in the restaurant), do it!

I have to say I am very disappointed. I've been a consumer of this restaurants food for two years and today has just blown my mind away. I am an a true disgust for one of my most beloved restaurants. I don't mean to sound cruel or bashful but I will make this as broef as I can. I walked into the small cozy Italian resturant like I have many other times on a Friday. My wife and my self very excited to eat some of Italy's finest cuisines. We had reservations so we were seated prompty the waitress very respectful and welcoming offered us two choices of water and both assuming to be cold due to it being the middle of summer we served to water that a Pyrex glass would bark at its temputure. It was honestly warm if not hot water. On to the meals I always order two appetizers one always being a plate of meats and cheeses so enjoy with our wine and another that my wife and myself decided to try something new. Ohh boy was I in for a world of awful I orderd the baby calamari dish that just was a giant mistake the dish came out a fire pit of spicy disaster nothing like the normal calamari wich I love Ohh so dearly but this was spicy that the hot water could not help me with or the wine for that matter because today they forgot to bring the wine chilling cover to keep my wine chilled. I did not finish the meal I continued to set my eyes on the future looking foward to our main dishes and would not try to put a twist. My wife orderd the dish she has been begging for all week the goat cheese linguine and I must say this dish is usually amazing. But no today on July 24 2015 they used all the hot water in our cups as drinks because the pasta my wife was served was not cool not even half way through it was litterly ramen with a splash of water. My jaw dropped and I was at a lost for words she was in tears and it unaccaptable because one tres is so small that one would assumed they take pride in all dishes they serve from there 5 hour a Friday schedule opened from 5pm-10pm. I will never return again and its a shame they must have gotten a new chef since last I've been but jeez bring the old chef back...

Spent the evening dining at Tre Scalini and really found it to be a wonderful Experience. Nice, quiet ambiance. Place is small but tables do not seem On top of each other like a lot of smaller restaurants do. We started with the Antipasto which was a small assortment of meat and cheese. It was just OK, felt like it could have used a cracker or some sort of jam mixed in, or even a soft cheese as it was basically just prosciutto, olives and provolone cheese I believe. I would Recommend one of the other enticing appetizers. For our meals we had the Rigatoni Alla Norma and the Pappardelle con Funghi and both were excellent. The Paparedelle could very well been one of the best pasta dishes I ever had. The sauce was creamy and just so good and the truffle oil really came through making it so delicious. The Rigatoni was excellent as well as the sauce was a nice sweet flavor that we both enjoyed. I believe the menu said it had ricotta salatta in it but I didn’t see any in the dish, regardless it was 10/10. All the desserts sounded amazing but we decided on the pistachio cake and highly recommend, I’m still thinking about how good it was. The service was excellent, she was always checking in on us making sure we had everything needed and were doing ok. If we are back in the Lehigh Valley area we will be sure to come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

What an absolutely lovely restaurant. Came here for a birthday celebration and so glad we did. First time dining here and the service was warm and friendly with a cozy yet classy atmosphere. They offer Indoor as well as outdoor seating and keep safety on a high priority during these covid times. We felt very comfortable and safe and truly enjoyed every single minute. The food is absolutely incredible . We enjoyed the wonderful fresh mussels in an amazing sauce , to the grilled octopus which was so fresh and delicious to the incredible out of this world pastas dishes and to die for deserts. Prices are fair considering the quality of the food and the portions are large and abundant. You truly get your monies worth and leave with a full stomach. The menu has many choices for every taste with nightly specials. The food is fresh and fantastic. This is a 5 star restaurant that can compete with some of the best in any big city. I look forward to trying some their other delicious dishes. . Reservations are recommended. This is a byo which in my opinion leaves you more.money to spend on the mouth watering food. I Loved every single moment here. They truly provide an upscale and enjoyable dining experience. Keep up the...
