Stop & Shop — Local services in Beverly

The store is usually clean and nice.. never really had a problem with the food. However every time I stop at the deli or walk past the deli.... I get a weird vibe. Seems the workers are always uncomfortable by one person that works there. Not sure if he's a manager or not but every time I walk past he's either angry or being rude to customers or yelling at the co workers and swearing at them... I came to find out that his name is Andrew.... A skinny kid. Some days he's pleasant some days he's a bat out of hell.... It's not right that the employees are being treated this way by just a coworker if he is a coworker OR a manager... Definitely won't be stopping by the deli anymore. Haven't been in there for a few weeks now. Saw him yelling and dancing in front of an old woman one day calling her a dog and I felt so uncomfortable that I ran out the store to my car and starting crying... I was so embarrassed for her. NO ONE should work in that type of an environment.... My daughter who is 7 years old even felt so sad for the workers and that woman that day.... It's shocking that this type of...

This is a run down grocery store. It smells like they’re trying to hide other scents. It looks like everything is falling apart. Everything is always out of stock—even before the pandemic. The produce is always in rough shape. Tonight the cucumbers were moldy or slimy. The selection is limited. The majority of employees don’t wear masks or respect social distancing. Also, I strongly prefer to check myself out. Closing alI self-checkout registers while the store is still open for business is unacceptable in my opinion. If the store is open, at least one self-checkout register should be open at all times for those of us who prefer to keep interaction with other people to a minimum. I only go here when I need something out of convenience because it is literally across the street from my house. Every time I go to this store a member by the name of Scott has continuously made me extremely uncomfortable following me and my friend around the store asking me if I lived alone and getting upset with me when I said I live with family and continued to follow us to the self checkout and stare at us both in a very uncomfortable manor at our lower half of our body’s every single time I have to hide myself under baggy clothes to not be seen by the worker this isn’t the first time . I’ve clearly made it aware I was uncomfortable to him and he continued to ask more and more personal questions and I’m pretty sure this isn’t the first complaint ever made about him .
