Depot Diner is an absolute gem and well worth the wait! It’s a popular spot, so hopping onto their website to join the waitlist is a smart move—saves time and ensures you get seated without too much hassle.

The food was phenomenal! We ordered the Eggs Benedict with corned beef hash, beans, and plenty of bacon. The bacon was crispy, delicious, and definitely not in short supply. The portions were generous, leaving us fully satisfied and happy. We also tried the Chicago omelet, which was fresh, flavorful, and, again, filled with lots of bacon. Each dish had great attention to detail, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both flavor and presentation.

The atmosphere at Depot Diner is bustling but cozy, with a lively energy that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the staff were incredible—friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated to making sure everyone had a great meal. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of, which added a personal touch that’s rare these days.

My husband and I came here because it's across the street from the apartment we were staying in. Plus they have gluten free toast. But I suddenly had a craving for salad. I asked the waiter which was recommended. He said the gorgonzola salad or steak tip Greek salad. I opted for the Greek salad with creamy Greek dressing and steak cooked medium. It was huge and the steak was so tender and flavorful. There was so much that I put aside the huge pita bread and two pieces of the steak for leftovers. My husband had the blueberry pancakes and he said it was really good - without syrup too! I also ordered hot water with lemon and when I asked for more hot water I got a fresh new cup. One more thing I noticed - the inside is decorated with train pictures and paintings hanging on bright yellow walls. Guess that's the "depot" part of the name.
