Mattress Firm Beverly — Hotel in Beverly

I bought a mattress here about 4 years ago. I'm writing a review now because my experience is hilarious! It wasn't hilarious 4 years ago. I was fuming. But today, all I can do is laugh because you can't make this stuff up. I ordered a plush mattress. The floor sample they had was awesome. Felt like I was sleeping in the clouds. I order the exact same mattress. It arrives. It's stiff and hard and uncomfortable as hell. I call to talk to rep. They told me I should jump on the mattress 15 mins a day for 3 months. Ummm what? This couldn't be for real. I said no, I can't do that. They said ok do you have kids? No I don't. Oh that's too bad, because you could have the kids jump on the bed. They then asked if I had a dog? Why? "Maybe the dog could Jump on the bed?. The bed needs to be worked in" Ok mattress firm...how about I drop the mattress Off to you, you guys jump on it everyday for 3 months then deliver it to me. I can't make this up. This was legit their solution to the bed being so stiff. Imagine if I was 70 years old? Would they tell an old fragile person to jump like a lunatic on the bed everyday for 3 months? lol. Till this day I am laughing. And I still have the mattress. Clearly it's worked in, but not by jumpining on it like a jackass...

The person who helped me (Margie Wells) was fabulous! Margie showed me several mattresses & I tried 3 based on her extensive familiarity with each. I would add that my daughter and a friend of mine accompanied me, and all three of us had questions for Margie. She was very patient! I have a couple of health-related issues that make it difficult for me to get a good night’s sleep because I can’t find a comfortable position in bed. All three of us remarked that Margie seemed to have quite a depth of knowledge about body structure and stress-related impediments. She gave examples of mattress types and electronically-assisted bed features that could ease some sleeping-related issues. We were impressed and felt that Margie was there to help us make the right decision. I’d tell anyone looking to test out a variety of mattress options to go to the Mattress Firm store in Beverly MA. The person who helped me was fabulous! She showed me several mattresses & I tried 3 based on her extensive familiarity with each. I’d tell anyone looking for a mattress to go to this store...

Hi, this is Amber here — I’m writing on behalf of Jua and myself. Jua already wrote a review earlier this week when our new mattress arrived, but I had to write another one after what happened next.

After our mattress was delivered, we realized that we actually wanted a larger size. So we reached out to Mattress Firm in Beverly, and the team there went above and beyond to help us fix our mistake. We spoke with CJ, and then Margie helped us yesterday — she stayed with us until late in the evening (we must have left around 8!) and was absolutely wonderful the entire time.

Even though we were the ones who mixed up the size — queen instead of king 😅 — they were kind, understanding, and truly accommodating. That level of friendliness and service really stood out.

We both want to thank Margie, CJ, and the entire Mattress Firm team for being so professional, patient, and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find people who treat you like friends instead of just customers.

We’ll definitely recommend Mattress Firm to anyone looking for a new bed — they are hands down the best we’ve ever dealt...
