Avoid this UPS store!! The staff are helpful, but Nick - the manager, - has very poor interpersonal skills and escalates challenging situations by blaming the customer and refusing to engage in any meaningful way when problems occur. When my package was sent to the UPS "Fraud Department" due to a glitch in the UPS system (their computer issued 2 receipts for the same package: one for shipping the package and another for payment), Nick stalled for months. Even though the Fraud Dept told me they had the package and it was safe, that they just needed confirmation from the store manager, UPS eventually lost the package. Nick then told me UPS acknowledged that the loss was their fault and would issue a full refund for the contents of the package, even though the package was not insured. I didn't hear back from Nick for almost 2 months. When I stopped by the store, Nick told me that UPS would not issue a refund, and that he was in a big "battle" with the company about it. He refused to send me copies of his correspondence, or updates of any kind and said that this was for the "protection" of UPS. He then told me he was busy and it was a lot of work to enter all the info manually... so it's not clear that he ever did anything at all to get my package back or get a refund. When I told him that this had been a terrible experience, he told me that was my "opinion". When I said I had used UPS for years, but I didn't want to go through this again, he said I had "options". I asked what they are? Nick said I could "use FedEx or USPS"! This man should NOT be in a managerial position. I had used that store for years for shipping orders for our business, but I will never go back...
Read moreWent in for a large flat rate box with items the would fit. Was shown the flat rate box, as another store clerk began to package my items in a different box, to be weighed for shipment as the manger was adamant they did not do flat rate shipping despite it being on the website and him physically showing me ups flat rate box. I'm assuming he thought my items would not fit. Whatever, fine great. The manager then goes to ring me up and informs me the box my items where now packaged into was going to be $8 on top of the shipping. I was not informed of this when packaging began, I would have taken it home and used my own free cardboard and packing tape. I tell him I am sure my items will fit in the large flat rate box will fit my items, he tells me they do not do flat rate shipping. Overall confusing and unprofessional experience. Against my better judgment of using UPS, learned my lesson to use USPS and privatization of mail is never the move.
Edit: I just paid $10 at USPS to ship the items when UPS wanted over $20 + the $8...

Regular staff was wonderful and willing to help. When they got the manager because they didn’t know what to do next- he was very short with me and kept cutting me off. When I requested that he let me finish speaking he told me our business was done.
This is an issue that he caused and he was unwilling to assist with- just kept telling me to contact the company in a rude tone while I was trying to speak. That is not how it should work.
He was rude and disrespectful. They should definitely look into who they have as a manager there. If he is that disrespectful to customers how is he to the other employees.
If zero stars was an option, that is what...
