I went to about a year ago to Allan's in Big Spring looking for a new mattress. My husband just brought me the sales ticket and it was a year ago today. A lady came to wait on me and she was showing me the different ones they had, then she said, "How about a memory foam?" I told her I couldn't afford that. She told me that the patent had expired on tempurpedics and now other places can make the same mattresses. I laid down and it did feel good. Allan came over and said that was the best on they had and he had the very same mattress and has been sleeping on it for 10 years. I turn my mattress around often so both sides will get the same amount of wear. Allan also told me that this mattress had a 10 year warrenty. This is the worse mattress that I have ever slept on. No matter how many times I turn it around, both sides remain with an indention and it's like sleeping in a canoe. I have had this mattress 1 year today and I wake up with a backache and a headache every day. I am going to call him today, but my little dog had 2 seizures a couple of weeks ago and I stained a part on this mattress on the side. If it was comfortable, It wouldn't bother me to sleep on it, but it is horrible. I have no idea how this man, with the exact same mattress has slept on it every night for 10 years. I am going to call and talk to him this morning. He will probably tell me since it is stained, the warrenty is not good. TO ANYONE BUYING A MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS, DO NOT BUY IT FROM ALLAN'S. i DIDN'T HATE IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT, BUT I HATE IT WITH A PASSION NOW. WE WILL SEE HOW THE 10 YEAR WARRENTY HOLDS UP BECAUSE OF THE STAIN. I HATED THIS MATTRESS BEFORE MY DOG HAD THE SEIZURE. I have no complaint about the service. Everyone was very nice, no one could sleep on this mattress for 10 years. It has been very uncomfortable for several months, but I have been sick and could not get do the store. Wish me luck everyone. The way the foam stays like it is when you are sleeping on are the same. It sure doesn't support your body and keep your spin aligned at all. Your lower back and bottom sink into a large divit that doesn't go back to the original way when you get up. When I get ready to get back in it, the "memory foam"...

Prices were very reasonable and then Allan lowered the price even after the original price. We were told it'd be 2 weeks for all of our furniture to get to the store. I spoke with the owner after 2 weeks and he said we'd have our furniture on April 1st. That's way past the 2 weeks we were initially told. Then today his staff informs us that it's going to be another week. And she couldn't understand why the owner would state April 1st if he didn't know when the truck would be delivering our furniture. I'm sorry we went there. They should at least compensate us for not being able to deliver on time. No wonder the office manager quit. And also, the carpet needs serious cleaning....
