O'Connor Hardware — Local services in Billerica

This is one of the better hardware stores. They got a lot of stuff man that you don't see in too many stores anymore. I hope they don't give up on that stuff cuz you know a lot of people don't don't do too much things like they used to very unproductive nowadays a lot of people. They just sit down. Go home, watch TV. It's not even just their fault. It's a lot of it's the neighborhood, the politicians, the neighbors, everybody complains. You know houses are built too close together. You live in an apartment? It's everybody's complaining. That's it but makes people lazy. They don't want to go do nothing because all they're going to hear is somebody complaining. Believe me I know but this place has got a lot of nice stuff man. A lot of nice stuff. I hope they don't change but who knows that anymore. You know. Who knows. I believe personally everything's hanging by a thread. All the good stores are gone. Radio Shack. Anything that was educational or useful things for people that wanted to learn. It's all gone. You got all the stuff...

I had stop by today to pick up some odds and ends including some paint, some brushes and other things.

while I was there, I had just recently bought a new Aarons snow blower... I had a question on the possi traction wheel system.

This machine is very good has a lot of quality options that come with it but it does cost a lot of money that goes with those specialty options.

but the tracking dual wheel system has a mind of its own and you're always fighting it left or right... anyway, nobody there could answer my question or give me a solution to my question..... what was an interesting point is a customer was standing next to me he's having the same problem, as is my neighbor, they told us to call aarons the dealer.

I don't think that was a fair answer. They could have called the dealer with us all there and consulted for us....

O'Connor true value is a great store with wonderful people and they all knowledgeable within their element.

They have everything. Usually the staff is more helpful. An employee did offer assistance when I first arrived. When I went to look for weed whackers, the two guys who were chatting away, pointed to the isle. I was in a handicapped cart, so I was unable to reach what I wanted. Those two should have known that. I had to go to the help desk to ask for assistance. The woman asked a guy to help me. He did, not until remarking that he was working in another Dept, but would help. Funny, no. He did help me and I got to use my half price coupon that came in the mail. When was leaving, I grabbed a lemonade from the front refrigerator. The price posted was $1.59. The girl at the register said it was $3! For a Lemonade? She said that price was for the soda next to it. Where was the prices for the lemonade? Not posted. Deceptive. $3.
