Abell Hobby — Local services in Billings

All the people are extremely rude, I've been in there 4 different times and both the older woman and older man treat you like you are not important and an idiot if you don't know something about your rc. I do not do this for a living, I do it for fun and am just getting into it but these people are really turning me off. Instead of being helpful and looking at your rc with you they treat you like an idiot if you're unsure about the part you need or the brand. Because of this I wasted money on a pull start and wasn't able to get the engine mounts I need. On top of this I brought my child in with me who is 5 and very interested and they were rude to my child as well and acted like we were in the way when all I wanted to do was spend money. I will never step foot in this place again and will do all of my shopping on line from here on out. Thanks for ruining my experience as a beginner...

I will have to admit this place is a very honest company i went there thinking my batteries were bad and to buy new ones and the gentleman tested the batteries and told me that they were just drained all the way down thats why my charger wasnt accepting them he gave them a boost and i took them home and they are now charging on my charger. As a novice to this type of rc stuff he could have easily just had me buy batteries 3s but instead told me the truth and helped me with my situation and explained to me what i did wrong and how to prevent it in the future. Anybody looking to get into this type of rc hobby i would highly recommend going here as this proves they are an open and honest company and they look out for the customers...

I needed a custom aluminum gear for an Extra. I contacted Abell Hobby for a quote, received a response within hours. I ordered the gear early on Friday 7/27, paid via paypal and asked how long before I'd see the gear. Lynda responded in approx. three weeks.

Later that day, I received a USPS Tracking Number. Lynda emailed me to explain that her person that does the gears was going on vacation, so he came in that morning to fill my order.

I received a beautiful gear yesterday, Monday 7/30. Incredible customer service...best I've ever seen in this hobby. I just wish Abell Hobby had a location here in Florida. Thank you Lynda...
