My family and I love this park for our yearly lacrosse tournament. The only down fall would be the fact they always have soccer at the same time and don't come even close to having enough parking to accommodate. So desperate people start parking in grass areas and places they should not. Then the police with grins on there faces show up and write parking tickets like it's Christmas for them. At least for my family we had games all day and got to the park before all the parking was gone. Also seen several people fighting over parking spots with there mouths and vehicles. This made things at times unsafe for the hundred of youth that participated in tournaments.Maybe for that one weekend every year they could put the greed aside and only hold the lacrosse event...
Read moreLarge open area that's primary purpose is for soccer and more recently lacrosse games. Near the center of the park are several buildings, one for bathroom facilities and one for concessions (picnic tables also available for seating in this area). I will warn that the parking for this park is atrocious and you must ensure you have ample patience when visiting. Be sure you give yourself plenty of time if you are attending a game here as it is very large park with not enough parking spaces so you will likely end up walking a bit. Also if you have young ones tagging along there are no changing table...
Read morePlayed at the field for years and I am now a regular spectator here. They do a great job keeping the grounds nice and the fields well taken care of. They seriously need a parking lot attendant of some sorts or something. The amount of vehicles parked in yellow spaces/making their own additional spots, that end up blocking the road space in the parking lot of the pavilion area has gotten out of hand. I know parking here can be difficult and frustrating… Many people can’t be bothered to walk half a mile to the field, but often it is an accident waiting to happen. Just go find a spot....
