KAY Jewelers — Local services in Billings

Please resolve the staffing issues, or at least give some kind of clarification on what days the store will be open. No one ever answers the phone and it's not feasible to come by every day to see if they're open that day or not.

I brought my rings from Zales in for cleaning and replating. The gave me a promise date of when to pick it up, but it wasn't available for an additional 12 days after that. I finally get my rings back and one week later, I put them on and noticed prongs had broken on my wedding band and two diamonds were gone. I've tried multiple times to bring my ring in on different days and they're always closed. I've kept my ring in a Ziploc bag in a pocket of my purse and more prongs have broken and another diamond has fallen out.

No one has been overly rude, but it's impossible to get a hold of anyone and the quality of service (whoever they sent my ring to for cleaning/repairing) was abysmal.

Incredibly frustrating. Please just communicate when the store will...

Edited-: was two star review. Changed it to one star after month later. The ring is still not fixed and had to send it back a FORTH time. Have talked to the store manager once already but she blew me off. DONT BUY JEWERLY FROM THIS PLACE.

Original Post: Have been dealing with the store in Billings, MT. Staff is friendly, and provides great service. However, don't get any repairs done! They send the jewelry out of state and every time we send my ring down for warranty work it's a disaster. We have sent my ring back three times (in a row) to get the band on the side fixed and it returned worse then...

I'm so disappointed. I turned in a necklace to get the chain repaired. They told me 2 weeks. It's been almost 3 weeks so I called them just to receive very poor customer service. I was concerned that they did not have my phone number to let me know when it's ready so I thought I'd call. But instead I received a irrated employee. She might just be having a bad day or maybe the phones are hard to hear from but it was a disappointing phone call. I hope her day gets better but this was a unprofessional phone call.
