Great American Bagel Inc. — Restaurant in Billings

First time I went there they were closing in 10 minutes and most of the chairs were put up in preparation for cleaning. The staff stopped what they were doing to make sure that we had good service, one made our bagels, the other made our coffees. There was no rush to get us out we felt relaxad and comfortable. Great food, great service. Second time we went there, different staff, orders were messed up, despite specifically requesting lettace/tomato/onion my bagel was bare except the meat, no cream cheese or anything. My wife made her order, and had to repeat it a minute later as the server had not been paying attention. she watched her bagel be made was told there is no tomato left. We paid and left. Once in the car I looked at my bagel and immeadiatly returned to get the fillings. Lo and behold tomato was now available, the server had not bothered to actually see if there was tomato. It was horrid, the service was really bad. This girl with glasses and braids, who was serving my family and I, had the worse attitude. She had asked us 3-4 times what our order was with a rude tone. The order was wrong as well, she had used the wrong type of bagel and put way too much cream cheese. She had packed it togo even though we said for here and when she brought it to the table she had tossed it onto the table, she rolled her eyes at my family even tho we have done nothing but been polite even though she has treated us in this manner. I don't know if this girl had a bad day or what but that was the worse service I had ever experienced in my whole life. The bagels have been better. The BLT I usually get was overkilled by mustard. Staffing has changed and their customer service skills have decreased significantly. They don't greet you like they use to also packaging has changed, they use to put pickles and bagel chips in a box for you to go. Now they just wrap the sandwiches and throw them in a bag. I have been there several times lately, hoping after this covid they would improve and figured one time there would be a thank you but their staff is young, too rushed, they forget to thank customers and smile. They use to have great attitudes in the morning and now it has changed so much. I hope they can change back to not being so stressed and overwhelmed. I hope this review helps them improve i truly wish them the best. They use to be one of my favorite places to go...
