I always enjoy coming here. If you have to get pet supplies often, get a rewards card. You'll be able to save more money. Every time I come here the staff is so awesome, caring and knowledgeable. They're always kind hearted. One time I had rescued a Cane Corso/ Pit mix puppy and he had worms really bad. I believe it was tape and hook worms. I brought him up to Petco with very little money in hand. I think I only had like $20 in hand, which wasn't nearly enough to cover what he needed. But he was such a sweet boy and he needed help, bad. Everyone up there just loved him to death and a couple of employees, I wish I could remember their names, ended up coming together to help pay for Beast's meds. I want to say the total would have been over $70. But the manager got her discount and paid the remaining balance. Im not sure but I believe the other lady, the cashier, had also pitched in money to help pay for it. This is just one example of how great this store is. I've got plenty other stories about the superior customer service provided here. I also really love the fact that when you walk in here it dosen't have that big cooperation feel to it like PetSmart. Instead, the atmosphere is more like a privately owned family business. Their animals are very well taken care of. The tanks and enclosures are always very clean, the animals look strong and healthy. The fish tanks are always beautiful with sparkling clear water. Employees seem to constantly be tending to the tanks, cleaning them or feeding the fish. The rewards program is awesome if you download the app and create a profile. I know it's saved me a ton of money for sure. It's got a lot of awesome perks. You get special discounts on certain products with the app. You just scan what you're buying with the app and see if it's listed on the app at a cheaper price and if it is you show it to the cashier at checkout and they adjust the price. You also gain points for the money you spend and you get $5 off after every so many points. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place at all. I love...
Read moreSuch a shame, I want to take my pup there for training but I also need to get food for my 3 lizards. This place has a 50 cricket per customer limit which doesn't last long between 3 lizards. When asked if my husband and I could purchase 50 and another 10 the guy was very rude to my husband(simple no I'm sorry sir would have been fine but was met with a very rude tone and him saying the same thing over and over with an increasingly rude/almost aggressive tone). Not only that they charge more for the crickets than petsmart. And petsmart DOESN'T have a purchase limit on them I could buy 200 if I needed too. Since the guy was so rude about it and the crickets are over priced we decided to stop going there all together and take our business elsewhere(to petsmart) where we can one stop shop for all our pets and also be talked to with respect. Petco employees at this location have been rude to us b4 this was just the last straw(outside of the puppy/dog trainer she was a doll). Very disappointed in this location, nobody should be talked to so rudely, number one rule of retail even when you're having a bad day smile and be nice to customers. If you cant do that maybe you need to stay off the floor and idk stock the backroom where you aren't going to...
Read moreI was visiting from out of town and brought my dog in to get his nails clipped. My dog is a 14 pound miniature schnauzer. The man working got down on the floor with him before he took him back to clip his nails and my dog just sat and looked up at him like he always does. The man called my dog “sweet” and “friendly” I then went to grab a bag of dog food. I could hear my dog yelp loudly and went back to the front (this store is ridiculously tiny). The man brought my dog out and said he couldn’t finish my dogs nails because he “tried to scratch me”. There were no scratch marks on the man when I asked to see where my dog scratched him. However, he cut one of my dogs toenails way to short and into the quick. My dog was bleeding as we left the store. This store is tiny, and has a small selection compared to most other Petco locations. The store manager finds it appropriate to interrupt and mansplain things to women. He also has no problem interrupting a conversation between employees and customers to talk about things like his daughters poodle and who is on the schedule. I don’t recommend this store to anyone. Ever. If you have to go in for product, my suggestion is to leave your...
