I challenge you to locate another restaurant with poorer customer service and hygiene than this restaurant. We stopped by the Sonic 01NOV25 on our way to the local Hockey Game thinking we would grab a quick bite of quality food and bypass the expensive Coliseum food. We were wrong. We placed our order at 5:14. We walked in and were greeted with "May I take your order?" These were the only words spoken to us the entire meal. As I stand by the register for over 20 minutes for a Cheeseburger and Foot Long Coney combos, I had the pleasure of watching the cook, wearing black latex gloves, take raw bacon from the refrigerator and place it on the grill. Without washing hands or changing gloves, he picked up the spatula and placed cooked burgers into some sort of beige / brown holding pan. He then turned around using the same gloves and reached his hands into that holding container and grabbed cook burgers and placed them onto buns (also touched with the same gloves). He turned around and went to the freezer and pulled out raw burgers and placed more raw burgers on the grill. He turned around again and reached the same unwashed hands handling raw pork, fresh burgers, raw burgers, and reached into the raw vegetables to complete making the burgers. The fries were old and were so hard they could have been kettle chips. The tots were room temperature. I continued to watch in horror, as another member came from the back, I believe to clean the deep fryer. This young man pulled the large fryer out of its location and attempted to clean the side of the fryer. This apparently is a difficult task, so he fetches a spray bottle of cleaner and begins to spray the side of the fryer. You can see the overspray, spraying over the side and into the grease. My wife and I wanted to leave that very moment. This restaurant is a prime example of "No cares to give" coupled with a lack of leadership and a lack of management. No oversight. No standards. One employee was asleep in a booth. No napkins were available to the customers. We had to ask for napkins and no one even said, "Here you go". At 5:30 in the evening, I would expect better. This was our first and last time visiting this restaurant. This visit has tarnished the Sonic brand!

Read moreI went there for a door dash tonight at 9:15pm. The order had been turned down a couple times so when I arrived at the Sonic, the order was already past the pickup time. I confirmed at the order mic the door dash customer I was picking up for and could barely hear him due to what sounded like a manager yelling at a fellow coworker very loudly on her cell phone at the picnic table directly behind the order mic. I heard the whole conversation before getting through the drive thru line due to how obnoxiously loud and unprofessional she was. I proceed to the window and there’s a limo in front of me picking up an order. As he grabs his order, I hear one of the worker ask about getting inside the limo to take pictures and he says okay and her and 3 other employees, including the manager, climb inside the limo for a picture…meanwhile, I’m waiting in line for this order that was supposed to be picked up 15 minutes prior. The limo leaves and the employees return inside and I pull up to the window to find that they were not even finished with the order. The bag of food was sitting there for who knows how long and she still had drinks to get…oh and they were also out of drink carriers and for 4 drinks it was pretty hard to deliver these as you could imagine. As I’m waiting for these drinks to be made there is just so much unprofessional conversation going on between the employees and nothing related to the order I was there to pick up. Needless to say, this was the absolute worst Sonic I have ever been to and more professional people need to be hired. It’s very difficult for door dashers, or this restaurant for that matter, to make money if the staff isn’t doing their jobs. Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars I would. Went to sonic as I have always went and enjoyed sonic. This particular sonic the last few times I have went has been horrible. I’ve been to some Sonic’s in some sketchy areas and never received service as bad as I did tonight. The guy on the intercom was fantastic. So I thought “oh this might have been a good idea.” I was very wrong. Waited behind a car for about 8-10 minutes while she’s handing the girl working sonic cups from her car, the worker on the clock fills them up and hands it back to the girl in the car. Free drinks? I finally get to the window and the lady reaches for the card without telling me the total. Hands the card back to me without a receipt. No biggie, I just like to check over it to make sure everything is correct. Wasn’t upset about it though, but now I wish I would have got it to have the persons name. Then she tried to hand me two slushies with slushie running all down the sides of both of them. So I ask her if I can get some napkins for the drinks. She takes the drinks back and wipes them off. Then goes back to get the food from the back where it was cooking. Hands me the food. I look in the bag, my cheese to my pretzel was missing. Fries purposefully put in the bag upside down and my pretzel was burnt. All because I asked her for napkins to wipe the cups off with? I would have had no issue wiping them myself. I wouldn’t have even minded if they were just a little bit of spill over on the cups. But these were very messy.
