The Bridge Community Hope Center — Local services in Birch Bay

I am grateful for the outreach of this group and sticking with it when their much larger facility was flooded out. The caliber of people who are working/volunteering there is very high - I have got to know about 7 or 8 over the past few years. I am very pleased that they are interested in people, who may want, to go deeper and work to bring long term lifestyle changes and thinking. I am aware of several very wonderful stories. I haven't been to the new location, but it is right around the corner on Birchbay Drive and for those who don't drive it is on the bus route. I have been to the old location many times when low on food and always loved the clothing bank...As soon as possible I will be in for a look-see since I am now back in the area after living on Maui in the quaint town of Lahaina that I called home for a year until the Horrific hurricane fueled fire that devastated OLD LAHAINA and surrounding Lahaina. The Bridge & its staff members (wonderful, giving volunteers) = A BLESSING to our community. Food distribution, chaplains on staff & the amazing donations that come into the boutique that the sales of/proceeds make the broad-spans of services available to our community...our neighbors.
