I've been coming to this Goodwill for a few months now. I've seen a fluctuation in prices. Sometimes the prices are fair and other times, prices are outrageous. Management is struggling at this store. There is complaints from the store associates about the general manager, and other assistant manager. There has also been comment's from management towards the associate, that they need to be doing more work, and pick up the pace. I'm always pleased with the two cashiers, Malissa, and Catherin, who seem to be busy hanging clothes, and helping other customers. The one manager that I admire, I think is Roberto. Big dude, with a good amount of facial hair. He needs more recognition. While he seems very tired at times, he clearly appreciates the other associates, and even verbally says so. There's been another fairly new associate, that has colorful hair. Not sure their name, but they seem to always cheer up the...
Read moreThis store has gone down the crapper. I’m a lifetime goodwill shopper and have shopped goodwills all over the country and currently regularly shop goodwills in 3 different states. Corporate came in and re arranged the entire store. Since then, the home goods and furniture are outrageous. Whomever is pricing or whomever is managing the people pricing is out of touch with reality. Big box stores have sales and clearances and that should be put into consideration when pricing items. I’m also sick of seeing greenbrier brand items (dollar tree) priced more than the $1.25 the items cost new. I also haven’t seen Jay in a while which makes me wonder if they pushed him out since he was their best employee… I won’t say more on that. But I and the other regulars know why corporate has a problem with him. Avoid this goodwill for a while and maybe change...
Read moreGoodwill used to be a place to shop where you always found super deals. They are fewer and farther apart now days. They have jacked the prices up on many items so high you can go to Wal-Mart and buy brand new and cheaper. Even the employees talk about some of the crazy prices. There are still treasures to be found and great prices though. I think it is so sad that the CEO of Goodwill makes more than a million dollars a year plus the excessive salaries of other higher ups. The people they are supposed to be helping are kept well below the poverty level making so little. I no longer donate to them. I would rather support the DAV or Salvation Army. I still look for treasures at reasonable prices...
