Cushions Billiards & Lounge — Local services in Blendon Township

I wanted to edit my review after a couple of trips to this pool hall / establishment. I want to first say, if youre an avid pool player or even a beginner.... you cannot find a better, more friendly (to all skill levels), with a better atmosphere. Also, its not a bad thing that Cushions has (hands down, no arguing there) the BEST equipment in Columbus. Not to mention their tournaments on the weekends are well oiled, with very little down time, double elimination, and the payout is top notch. A1. You can find everything from friendly players on the next table over that will play casual games, to the cash game players that will happily give you action. As a fellow masters player, I can say honestly that theres no real reason to go any other place. At all. I won't go into details and name any names (out of respect, but i think we all can guess the other pool halls and establishments that im talking about). And the icing on the cake is that Dan, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. (and he can shoot, don't let him fool you). no other establishment in the city of columbus will you have an owner casually shoot with you, greet you, occasionally just chop it up with you because hes a solid owner. Through and through. Cushions billiards attracts the clientele that you feel safe around. The type of individuals that you don't need to watch your stuff constantly out of fear that it might get stolen when you go to the bathroom. (like at 8 ball Cough). and just when you thought things couldn't get better they have, by far, the best soft tip darts league in town. with some casual players, but also some real wolves and killers up there that can throw tacks all day. so for those of you reading this, what are you waiting for? get up there and play some pool, have a drink, and throw some darts. also make sure to say hey to dan. then youll be able to see for yourself that everything i say is true. see you all up...

Was in there tonight , and I asked for another drink , & the bartender did not serve me because it was after “last call” but then I continues to watch him pour 3 other people drinks. When the person next to me asked me if I Was drinking another. I simple told them how the bar tender told me he wasn’t serving no more & served 3 other people after that . He then yelled from across the bar “ I will be there in a moment to serve you after you stop talking shit”. I didn’t realize I was taking shit , instead I was stating facts of what actually happened. He came by to serve me after this incident and I simple told him I did not need any service . Because I refuse to have service from someone who presents themselves in...

First time visitor to Cushions. We were having a diaper party and everyone agreed this would be a good place as we all like shooting pool. The place is very open with a well stocked bar with a nice selection of domestic and imported beer. Quarter tables on the top level and I believe hourly and league table on the bottom level. TVs at the bar for watching sports. Very clean despite doing some remodeling. The bartender was friendly and quick with drinks despite our large group. Drink prices were not expensive at all, I drink Newcastle and expect to pay a premium but that was not the case here. While not being very good at pool our group will be back and we had a great time! Pop a shot basketball game...
