Cooper Sports Park — Attraction in Columbus

It's a small park. It is nice, but I have others I prefer. I don't always feel safe by myself at Cooper Park. It's not a very dangerous area, but I do notice a lot of people who sit in their cars in the parking lot and there seems to be a lot of blind spots along the trail. Nice well maintained park with basketball courts, baseball/soccer field, good access to the Alum Creek bike trail. This park is right off Ohio to Erie trail so its a nice stop if biking with little ones. However, there is no shade. So I recommend coming on a shady day or maybe when its a bit cooler. Plenty of benches and a decent size field for kicking a soccer ball around. My toddler...
