I took my granddaughters IPad to be repaired due to the charging port only wasn’t working. I was told it would be $85 to replace. I paid $45 upfront for them to order the part. When part arrived, I took iPad in for repair. I got a call that it was ready. When I got to the store, I was informed that while they attempted to open the device that the screen cracked but they replaced at no charge to me. The next day the tablet wouldn’t come on. I took back to store and was told it’s a software issue and to leave it for them to reset which would be no additional charge to me. Fine. Then things started to go downhill. I was told to come back the next day to pick it up. I did and then was told they needed more time. I waited 2 additional days. I called them to see if it was ready and was told that the motherboard was no good and burned out the charger port and they couldn’t repair.
