Magic World of Roses — Local services in Bloomfield

I purchased a $1300.00 package for my grandmother's funeral and requested that they be delivered at 4pm. When I contacted the funeral home I was told my order of flowers was not delivered and in a panic a proceeded to call Magic World of Roses. I called a total of 40 times from three different phone numbers and was not answered, forcing me to drive to the store while I was supposed to be bidding my deceased grandmother goodbye. The staff and the owner were incredibly cold and condescending to me and instead of explaining why my calls to the store went unanswered, they continue to come up with excuses. While my flowers were delivered an hour after I requested (at 5pm), this florist made an already difficult and stressful day for me even worse. One staff member communicated with the owner in Spanish asking what my problem was, and as I speak Spanish, I was able to let that associate know that I was in distress because she did not answer the phone and even hung up on me the one out of 40 times I called. This is the second time my husband gets flowers from this place, and it’s the second time we have the same issues. My husband wanted to give them a second chance, but we were very disappointed again. The delivery was very late, even when they are conveniently close to the place I work at. From far away, the arrangement looks beautiful, but when you take a close look you can notice they do not use fresh flowers. This second time my husband requested changes on the type of flowers that weren’t done. There is a big flower that smells strongly bad and we had to remove them. Whoever is writing the personalized notes is doing a terrible work, it looks written in a rush. It is sad to do this review, because my husband states the person who took the order from him was very nice. This place has 4.6 stars, but what we got does not deserve that rating. My brother and I ordered a casket spray and a heart tower arrangement for our mom's funeral on May 20, 2021. We had a hard time making a decision on the colors of the flowers, but Dulce was very patient with us as we struggled to describe what we wanted. The flowers were delivered on time and were better than we expected. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were. The price for our flowers was also very fair.

The care, compassion and patience Dulce showed us was amazing and we are forever grateful! Thank you very much "Magic World of Roses" for helping us give our mom, Carmen the beautiful send off she deserved. Both arrangements reflected our mom's colors in an amazing way. We know she was happily smiling down on us! We are now customers for life and highly recommend...
