I have been eating at this place since 2008 and I have my favorites.
🚫But I will no longer spend my money here. The service is fast but they are always rushing you over the phone. They are super inpatient. And this causes confusion when ordering and unfortunately your order is wrong. They leave you on hold for such a long time. When you call to correct a mistake they will lie to your face and tell you you did not call back. I mean whoever has answered the phone the past few times I've ordered is just unprofessional, rude and does not know how to clarify an order.
But that's ok. ✌️👋
The food is delicious and they at least give the option of vegetables on the side. But no thanks. I will continue to order from the place in Newark down Bloomfied Ave that is cheaper, consistent, and knows how to provide customer service.
If you order in person you probably will not have this same experience. But expect to be talked to like your not spending your hard earned cash over the phone.💸

The thing that sets this place apart from other grilled food place is the fact that you can order steamed veggies...real steamed veggies not the Frozen stuff. Their fries to me don't taste like the others in this area and their rice has a little more flavor. If you do not like grilled chicken in the bone try the garlic chicken. The prices are reasonable a little more pricey then some places in the area but the quality is there. Their meat has a little spice to it. Read moreMy wife and I use to patronize this establishment for a very long time I last visited them on Mother’s Day last year while traveling in the area visiting my mother who was in a area nursing facility we stopped here to get food for several family members who were also visiting my mother we purchased over eighty dollars worth of food upon leaving my wife notice that we didn’t have enough paper plates or forks when I asked for more I was told that you were already given some! My reply was that it wasn’t enough! And I’m feeding a lot of people. Although I was given additional forks and plates it was very insulting that I had to explain why I needed more especially given the fact that I spent as much money as I did! I won’t bash this place and I’m not the person who goes around leaving negative comments on business pages; I am a restaurant owner myself, however I feel it necessary to leave this comment and I want nothing more than an apology for the manner in which I was treated not only then but other things as well that I won’t mention. I personally like to feel that my business is appreciated example never a hello how are you? I’m no a stranger to this place, just a blank stare! Read moreMy experience this evening at the Grill Master was not so good. I'm usually a pretty happy customer when I visit this establishment.This evening this was not case. I ordered my food over the phone at which time I was told there was a 40 min wait being that the food is fresh to order. I arrived to pick up my food approx 40-50mins after placing my order at which time I was informed that another customer with a similar name picked up my order. I was then asked if I would want there food being that there was a mix up at which I declined. I was offered a fresh order of the food I originally ordered at the original fee and I accepted. I then waited another 40-50mins for a fresh order. I went to pay for my food and was asked did I want to order any else ? Me: yeah, no thanks this is good but shouldn't I be offered something for the additional 40-50mins wait you know "loyal Customer". I was then told the fact that I was offered fresh food to replace my original order at the original fee was Grill Master showing customer appreciation. I'm like really that what you are supposed to do anyway. She then tells me oh well we are the ones losing money I could have just gave you the other persons order.
