Katty Nail Salon Inc — Local services in Bloomfield

I have visited this nail salon two times in the past, the first visit was ok had my nails done ( gel polish) it lasted for 1 week, the second visit I arrived at 11:00 signed the book and took a seat not long after I arrived a few women came in and was immediately seated at one of the stations while I still waited to be seen after sitting for over two hours and saying something to one of the ladies I was seated and had my nails(gel nail), feet and eyebrow done I was charged $53.00 this lasted about 1 1/2 week with two nails breaking. Today I arrived between 9:30-10:00 am again signed the book and waited up two 2 1/2 hours and still was not seen, but again I experience ppl walking in and being seated at chairs I left and came back at 1:43 pm and three ppl arrived after me so far two is seated. If you have a whole day to seat and listen to women speak in they native language this place is for you, but if you’re like me with a long list of errands on Saturday don’t come here. These women talk about everyone that comes in here, outside of always going in the room where the eyebrows are done and staying back there eating and talking very loud, side note they over charge, please don’t come here...

I have been going here since they opened. I stopped going for a while and then went back again. I completely agree their professionalism is very poor. I was there, and one of the nail techs had an incident with my boyfriend. Mind you I am there, she does not say anything to me, yet once I leave that is all they spoke about me and him. When I went back the next day, she came and told me about the incident. However, I was not shown the respect as a female and as a customer for them to speak to me first, yet the entire neighborhood and town knew how they felt. I will not be going back and in the same token, I have told all the people I recommended to go before, to stop going. When you leave a place after a service you do not expect to be in the mouth of those people each and every day. It is very childlike and unprofessional. I am not saying it is all of them because is not....for a fact I know that the nail tech that does my nails, Daisy was not there and did not know what was going on. However, sometimes for the mistake of one, everyone pays. I cannot apologize for writing the truth, especially when I have been a client...

I am giving 2 stars because the service is pretty inexpensive but Lord... their nail technicians have the poorest customer skills and this is not what you find in a typical nail salon in the area. These girls are horrible gossipers and really, I would say they bash their customers the same way as they leave the door. The "lady" making my nails had a whole conversation with her colleague while doing my nails and they even shared an opinion about "my thin skin". By the way, this woman made my fingers bleed twice and to make things worse her colleague says in the most disrespectful manner "look like that skin is bleeding" to I which responded:of course because I was cut!!! No SUV light on spot, so I don't know how they sterilise their instruments. If anything, it is the customer's fault, right? No decency and no safety apparently. I didn't leave right away and kept my composure because I needed my nails done asap. Simply, I won't go back and will stop anyone from going! No excuse for such terrible service.
