Kroger — Local services in Bloomington

Yesterday was the worst day of my life. I have been a kroger customer's for years (20 years +)..this woman with a shaved haircut was very UNEDUCATED, UNPROFESSIONAL DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE HUMAN BEING. THE MANAGEMENT THEY NEED TO DO AN ACTION FOR THOSE EMPLOYEES THAT ARE VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO THE STORE CUSTUMERS... BECAUSE OF US (CUSTOMERS)THEY EAT,WE GIVE THEM A ROOF ON TOP OF THEIR HEAD ..THEY NEED TO BE KIND TO PEOPLE..I ADDRESSED THE PROBLEMS TO THE MANAGEMENT AND IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO TAKE CARE OF THAT PROBLEM. IF I AM THE MANAGER OF OAKLAND KROGER I WILL BE DOING SOME DUSTING OFF BECAUSE I WILL NOT TOLERATE THAT KIND OF ATTITUDE OR BEHAVIOR TOWARDS CUSTOMERS. I WILL TAKE AN ACTION RIGHT AWAY IF I AM THE "BOSS"..I WON'T ,AND I WILL" NEVER " TOLERATE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR. PERIOD! ........I WAS DOING BUSINESS TRANSACTION LIKE I ALWAYS DO AT LEAST 3X A WEEK..(KROGER EMPLOYEES KNOWS ME )..WELL THIS WOMAN WITH A SHAVED HAIRCUT WAS THE ONE WHO HANDLING MY TRANSACTION YESTERDAY..WHEN SHE WAS FINISHED SHE SHOWED ME THE TEMPORARY RECEIPT IF IT WAS CORRECT..AND I SAID YES..THEN I STARTED FOLDING MY RECEIPT LIKE I ALWAYS DO FOR ME TO KEPT CUZ ITS MY RECEIPT WITH ALL OF MY INFORMATION ON IT..OMG....SHE SNATCHED MY RECEIPT OFF MY HANDS ROUGHLY AND CRUMBLED IT AND PUT IT IN THE GARBAGE...HOW DARE YOU I SAID...AND HER RESPOND WAS "NO YOU CANNOT HAVE THE RECEIPT...AND I SAID IT'S MINE AND THEY ALWAYS GAVE IT TO ME..AND SHE RESPOND..NO..AND TURNED AROUND..I LOOK FOR THE MANAGER AND TOLD HER WHAT HAPPENED HER NAME WAS MICHELLE VERY NICE LADY..SHE TALKED TO THE WOMAN WITH A SHAVED HAIRCUT,SHE APOLOGIZED AND ROLLED HER EYES..WHAT KIND OF PERSON WILL DO THAT TO THE CUSTOMER? ........A W F U L..... WHEN I GET HOME I CALLED THE STORE THAT I WILL BE THERE IN THE MORNING WHICH IS TODAY TO PRINT ME A NEW RECEIPT..SHAWN WAS VERY NICE AND GAVE ME THE RECEIPT THAT SHE CRUMBLED UP YESTERDAY..THEN I ASKED ONE LADY SHE WAS SO KIND AND I ASKED HER KINDLY TO PAGE BRYAN THE ASSISTANT MANAGER THAT I NEED TO SPEAK WITH HIM..HE WAS THERE RIGHT AWAY AND TALK TO HIM ABOUT MY CONCERNED, HE SAID TO ME HE WILL HANDLE THAT PROBLEM. WILL SEE..CUZ TOMORROW I WILL GO BACK THERE AND TALK TO THE TOP MANAGER..HE WASN'T THERE YESTERDAY... I WILL BE THERE AND WAIT FOR HIM BECAUSE HE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY... Will see...... ...BECAUSE OF ME (AS A CUSTUMER) SHE GET PAID EVERY WEEK AND PAID FOR THAT HAIRCUT...BECAUSE OF ME SHE IS ABLE TO PAY HER BILLS, BECAUSE OF ME SHE EAT...BECAUSE OF ME SHE HAS MONEY EVERY...

It pains me to give this store a rating of one star. if there was a way to give them zero stars that would be more sufficient. At this point in time there is no way you could ever get me to walk back into the store. Very few stores are still limiting the purchase of toilet paper. So, if one doesn't know that and places in packages in their cart... Three kroger employees descend upon you simultaneously and shame you... Mind you, not one at a time, but all at once. A simple explanation of we are still limiting toilet tissue to one package is sufficient. But Kroger's on Oakland Street in Bloomington prefers to humiliate their long time customers who have regularly spent massive amounts of their hard-earned dollars patronizing only their store. Never mind that the prices are extremely high. If humiliating your customers is the goal, then you have done your job...

Could be the worst Kroger in America. The store manager should be fired, that's how bad the customer service is here. All the employees were rude except for the lady in the bakery. A guy with a broom was kind of chasing us around. Another lady told my daughter not to touch any of the toys unless she had bought them, which makes no sense since you have to pick the item up to bring it to the check out. Not only that, but as a customer she is allowed to pick items up, inspect them, and decide if she wants to spend her money buying it. This store was dirty and had a weak bakery, weak produce dept, and a weak deli. Normally we are huge fans of Kroger, but I would shop anywhere else instead of this store!
