I give this rate is based on my recent personal experience yesterday and today. We wanna sell my clothes, and came to the door at around 5 pm yesterday. At that moment, we can still open the door, however, the staff came to close the door with a piece of notice and told us they would not accept any clothes due to shortage of staff. We suddenly got this notice but we did not make any argument at that time. That staff told us to come the day after, which is today, should come a little bit earlier, and they will close at 8pm tomorrow. Then, we come to Plato's Closet at around 2:15pm today. However, when we grabbed our stuff there, the staff told us they won't take any clothes at 2pm, because they will close at 5pm today. I feel very disappointed about this thing. How could the shop just randomly pick up a time not accepting clothes and choosing a closed time due to shortage of staff without any notice? Even giving me such a wrong information yesterday! I think the staffs' discretions not taking my stuff are not reasonable, for the first time, and of course for the second time. We understand the shortage of staff situation so we didn't not make any arguments yesterday. But with the wrong information they gave us, for the second time, even we explained yesterday's story, they still let us go back home and come again. What about if they just change the time to 11 am or 11:30am tomorrow? Shortage of staff cannot explain and excuse everything. I think Plato's Closet Bloomington should at least give a specific time guidance for all customers in advance regarding the information about hours to take clothes. Also, if Plato's could improve their service quality and training in the area of attitude, discretions of customers' own cases, that will be better....

Update: Idk why I thought I’d try to sell to them again, but I did and complete waste of time. Same issue with the Rock Revival Jeans, they were seriously BRAND NEW! I NEVER wore them because I didn’t like how they fit, I ordered them online and never had the time to return them. I was offered $8!!!! EIGHT DOLLARS!!! For $180 jeans. She said they were very worn, especially in the crotch. Lol, I’ll take a picture of them. They were kind of bunched up in the crotch from where they’d been folded up in my dresser. Please look at these pics and tell me these jeans are very worn in the crotch. They are still crisp from never being washed. Haha. She knew they weren’t. I called her out and she just laughed. I didn’t realize I needed to iron my jeans before selling them. And $2 for Hollister and AE shorts. Lol no thank you! I'd rather give them away. Come on! This place is a joke and a waste of time if you’re selling high end name brand clothes. Read moreI went here tonight, I usually don’t go into this store very often, this was the first time in year and I won’t be back to this store. I was with my kids and customer service was horrible!! This was an awful experience. My eldest daughter couldn’t find anything she liked to wear; they sold crop tops or halter tops that are inappropriate for a preteen. When we went to the cashier I had a bunch of items for my son. The cashier saw all the stuff I had and she had the nerve to ask me if I needed a bag. Of course I wanted a bag, why wouldn’t I need a bag, what did she expect me to do, carry my items out in my hands with no bag. Lol stupid question, I hope that’s not a policy to ask customers if they need a bag. The cashier did not ask if I had points and when I mentioned it, she smiles and says she asks at the end. The girl not one time spoke to me or even acknowledge my presence. These young ladies in here are rude and horrible at customer service, they need to learn how to speak to people or acknowledge their customers. Not worth spending my money in here!
