I was so worried at my first visit that I would come across as the weird American with loud children, but the staff was so welcoming and friendly!

Great place for staples like ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and a great for things like sesame oil, sesame seeds, etc that can be expensive at a chain grocery store as "specialty items."

They helped me understand what I needed to learn some easy recipes, and a man who I think may have been the owner was so friendly with my kids. He laughed with them and gave them cookies! (No charge!) He showed me an easy little kit to make onigiri easily with the kids 🥰

Me and my boyfriend come here a lot! They always have an amazing selection of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese foods and drinks. The ramen section is huge, the drink section is huge, they have plenty of good options. Only Problem, some food & drink items are expired. I remember grabbing a Chinese strawberry coke, it expired November 2024 while it was February 2025 and the cashier yelled to another girl in Chinese during checkout. while she scanned it she said “this product stock is still expired” or something in that manner. But, that’s the only negative I’ve seen so far! They also have great service and a growing beauty section which I love! I wish they would start carrying Korean & Japanese makeup like...

Lately, there has been a smell of burning plastic in the store. It’s very TERRIBLE when shopping there, and I even experience difficulty breathing, constant coughing, dizziness, and nausea! As someone with asthma, this space is very unfriendly to us, and the smell has been getting worse recently y'all know that? I’ve already brought this issue to the staff’s attention twice, but if it isn’t resolved soon, I’ll have to file a complaint with the health department. and I ain't coming back to shop again!
