I open two accounts with Truist a personal and a business account. I do investing with my investments firm crypto, I sent three ACH deposit from my crypto account into my personal and Truist rejected the third one which went back to my investment account with crypto; however Truist placed a hold and a block on my account. They have restricted me from having any access to my funds which has caused unnecessary stress on me, their fraud department is a JOKE really they hide behind their department leaving customers clueless what to do! They ask me to have my investments firm to fill out a hold harmless agreement and they (crypto) have done that and Truist still have not returned my funds to my investment account. I thought all banks once they have closed your accounts then the next step is to send the customer a check right? But not Truist they have my funds in recovery mode until the sender reclaim them! Well I have been explaining to Truist that I am the sender of the 2 ACH cash deposit! Do anyone at Truist know what they're doing in that department!! WORSE BANK EVER!!! DO NOT BANK WITH TRUIST!!! the branch that I open my account were at the Blue Ash Oh, when I stopped by to see whats going on and demanded answers and Mr. Klye Martin call the police on me!!! Wow! if this is how Truist treat their valuable customers with large amounts of money! Then once this is resolved I’ll NEVER repeat NEVER bank with Truist...
Read moreHORRIBLE banking experience. I also bank with JP Morgan Chase and they make this bank look like bottle of the barrel. I set this account up to get the “new account bonus money”. I set Zelle up like I have with Chase and tested sending myself money back and forth before I allowed my paycheck to be deposited here. Everything worked fine. Then of COURSE payday and my direct deposit goes here, I log in to Zelle money over to my chase account to pay bills and Zelle has been restricted. Waited on hold and with three different customer service specialists just to be told once they deem someone “high risk” they disable Zelle for good and don’t ever allow it again. I’ve had a acct with Chase since 2011 and NEVER had such issues and are a good standing customer. No reason for Truist to have blocked my Zelle over a $50 test payment when I have WAY MORE funds available in this account than $50. The nearest bank is 1.5 hours away so now I’m going to have to figure out another way to...
Read moreStay away from truist bank at all costs. They took over my BB&T mortgage and its been nothing but a mess ever since. Payments wont go through, wrong info about me(had a phone number from 20 years ago i never even gave bb&t or truist) which prevented me from paying my bill on their website. I had no address where to mail my payment. Sat on hold 3 times for over 1 hr to speak with someone to fix this mess. Each time too over 2 hrs and still had issues. Now this month 9/22 they took my mortgage payment out 2 times. In the meantime i have to wait 10 days for a refund. Putting other bills behind with late fees. Im actually applying for a refinancing and out of a 2.85% fixed mortgage just to get away from truist. The government needs to shut this bank down. And i have sent a complaint to ohio attorney general but they dont do bank issues. Not sure who to contact but this bank is a mess and...
