I had a terrible experience at this location at about 4:30p today. I typically donāt write reviews but, Iām sick of tolerating poor customer service. I came here right after work to return some items I no longer needed (and never used) from a birthday party I hosted. Another guy walked in at the same time as me. I was the first in line. The store was empty when we walked in so we just stood and waited. When an employee finally came out he instantly started to rush me to get out my QR codes. Then I apologized when really I didnāt do anything wrong. The first item went through fine but, my next item required a box and label (it was the only one that required one). I asked if heād be able to print it off for me, then he said no. He said I can send it to the store email and thatāll be an additional $4 charge (which is kinda crazy for a label). I said thatās fine, then he said itād be an additional cost to tape it so the full total would be $8. I finally said no because I honestly didnāt think itād cost for 1 piece of tape and a label. If someone responds back to this review, Iād like to know if it truly cost that much or if he was being dishonest with me. After that, as he was scanning out my other items he was still rushing me. He kept tapping his finger on the counter for me to put the next item down and scan the other QR codes. He also started saying all my items were junk and that it wasnāt my fault. Itās the countryās problem. He also carelessly tossed the packages in the bins while putting the labels on. I stayed silent the whole time because I really didnāt know what he wanted me to say to that. It was very awkward and rude. I didnāt come there to be judged/ insulted. I came there to return packages (that were still in their original packaging) because I had no use for them. Thatās literally my right. Amazon allows returns in their policy. If he has such a problem with it he should take it up with Amazon. Not me! I also want to mention I watched 3 interactions he had with other customers after me. They seemed positive and friendly. All of those people left with a smile on their faces. I feel like every interaction should be like that. Iām not understanding why mine wasnāt like that. Iām hoping it wasnāt a race or age issue. Thatād be truly disappointing to know ups is hiring people like that. There should be zero tolerance for hate and discrimination in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 3/5/20, I contacted the UPS Store in Blue Ash to ask if they have a copy machine and the cost per copy. The man told me yes on the copier and it's .15 a copy but you get a discount if you copy more. I told him that I only needed to make a few copies. I drove to the store, said hello to the man, saw the machine, and started using it, but for some reason there was a glitch (an error) and although my original documents went through, they did not copy. I told the man my originals ran through but I did not get copies. He stepped over to look at it, pressed a couple of buttons (the same ones I pressed earlier), placed my documents back on the copier, stood there for another minute while I continued copying, then left. When it was time to check out, he went to the copier to check the number of copies made, stated I had 18, when it was only 11, then suggested I erased them...what!!!. Then he proceeded to charge 4.79 for 12 (the 12th page was blank - the backside of a page with print) instead of 11 copies for 1.65. I told him "that's not right I only had 11 copies, why am I being charged 4.93 (tax included)?" His response, "because I helped you and there is a charge." He never mentioned a fee over the phone, when I arrived, or even when he stepped over to fix the glitch. Very interesting...I am sharing because I thought it was deceiving. I paid the small amount and left. I used to drop off my Amazon return packages there but will find another place. Normally I go to the FedEx store around the corner for copies (they are great!) but thought I would try the service at the UPS Store. Never again!
Response to owner: Thank you for follow up and the offer to refund the charges. The interaction with your staff member was uncomfortable and I will pass on your offer to refund...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hope this review finds you well. I wanted to share my recent experience at your store, specifically related to returning Amazon packages. Unfortunately, it was a frustrating and time-consuming encounter.
During my visit, I encountered a foreign older male employee who initially refused to accept my return. He insisted that the packages needed additional packaging, even though the items were already in the boxes I received from Amazon. This was perplexing and inconvenient, but I complied nonetheless.
To my surprise, the same employee later informed me that he could accept the packages but would need to charge me for the service. This left me feeling quite frustrated, as it seemed inconsistent with Amazonās usual hassle-free return process.
In response to this situation, I decided to visit the Sharonville location on Canal. There, a representative promptly accepted my packages without any issues. When I inquired if there was something wrong with the packaging, I was told that everything was fine, and my Amazon return was processed smoothly.
I must express my disappointment with the initial storeās handling of the situation, which not only wasted my time but also cost me additional gas for the extra trip. The contrasting experience at the Sharonville location further highlights the inconsistency and inconvenience I faced.
I believe that efficient and customer-friendly service is essential for retaining trust and satisfaction among customers. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience at your store.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I look forward to hearing from you and hope for a more positive experience in the...
