Read moreOne saying I will never forget that I learned in high school and still use it to this day is "your lack of planning is not my emergency!" First visit here and I was in the area I figured I would try out a new dispensary and enjoy new products and enjoy the sales going on in the area im in. Why is it so hard to spend your hard earned money in the retail stores? Between the cost of everything going up you would think the service you get would would either meet or exceed expectations!?!
1.) Hours via Google says the lobby would be open until 10pm. I arrived at 9:15pm the lobby was closed. I pull around 20 minute wait. Ok Kansas City cannabis company you got me now. Now I have to wait to pick up my medicine. Yes I could have gone somewhere else but being 9:15pm if i go somewhere else where ever I go would be closed. Could I have picked up my medicine earlier somewhere else yes but I worked since 6am and no one is open.
2.) Good old convenience fee. Hey i get it. Its a convenience fee for a reason. Website said $3 i check out tender says $3.50. Is it a big deal NO it's the point.
3.) Can't find my order. I had to provide my order number and the tender had to go find it making the drive through back up.
4.) I'm sorry I'm getting a 404 error and having issues with my internet. I get it sometimes technology doesn't work.
5.) Hey I completely understand everything that's going on, but these reasons of many I got out of retail! I've stopped eating out don't get me going about that! When are retailers going to understand as consumers we vote with our money and when us consumers get fed up enough we stop spending our hard earned money and go somewhere else?
The tender who helped me was very professional and polite and so was I! Did I tip no and don't get me started on that and the 2 cents I left wasn't a dig at the tender. I was reminded of the 20% discount I can get if I visit the dispensary again! Thank you for the offer but I will take that in consideration. Thanks for letting me vent!!!! I just hope this is a wake up call to all of us! I hope nothing but the best for kansas city cannabis company and it's staff!

Read moreAbsolutely love KCC, and their staff is second to none!!! I worked with Shea in Blue Springs, and she was so incredibly helpful and kind. She made sure I had great products and strains for my medical needs, and was happy to answer my questions. She also ensured that I had my discount in my rewards wallet applied, which is something I always forget!!! She clearly loves her job and is so great at it!!!
This all happened in the drive-thru via speaker and video, by the way. A testament to how Shea’s excellent, positive attitude, enthusiasm for helping people, and all-around depth of knowledge absolutely bridged the gap between us and made me feel much better informed and honestly made my whole day with her positive vibes!!!
Oh, also, please don’t forget to tip your budtender, including in the drive thru, if they’re helpful!!! If you’re paying by card, just ask if they can add a “$__” tip to the amount. They’ll have you use the card machine, then put your “change” in the basket. Just take your ID out of the basket and leave them their tip!!! They deserve it-I’ve never had bad service at any KCC location. Shea is such an excellent Budtender, I had to give her a personal shout out!!!
Also, huge recommend for Drool’s God’s Gift vape for physical pain. Especially with cold weather coming up-it actually feels like a cooling sensation at the site of inflammation, and you don’t need a lot to get that relief, so you don’t have to get heavily high-it’s the first strain I’ve had that really works in pain and inflammation without requiring a heavy dose. It’s great!!!
