Westlake Ace Hardware — Local services in Blue Springs

So even tho they are higher in price than the big big box hardware stores they almost always seem to carry those hard to find bolts, nuts, and everything else. Plus over the last few years they have really redone their stores and they are very nice to shop. This one in particular is fantastic. The staff is always friendly and willing to help if you need it. They have manager specials that make their pricing better than the others and if you watch their ad you can score some really great deals. They also are a Stihl seller with everything you would need, they also have a great selection of BBQ items, besides grills they have charcoal and spices, rubs, sauces, and everything else to make your next outdoor BBQ just a tad better. Not always my first stop but definitely worth a stop every other week or so. Great LOCAL...

Just want to give a shout out to Nicole B. She is why ACE Hardware is the helpful place. Two days in a row I needed something quick, as I had my 93 year old mother in the car with the motor running as it was extremely hot. She was at the register and welcomed me and remembered me from the day before. Again she took me right to where I needed to go and helped me get exactly what I needed. Normally I like to browse through the store and see what I can see, but the great thing about ACE is when you need to get in and out you don't have to waste time looking for help. Some helpful employee is always there to get it done. When I worked for ACE we had the 10 ft rule, no customer didn't get by an employee without being asked if they needed help. So, I don't go to my local Ace Hardware for the prices. They are not the cheapest. If I was looking for a bird feeder, they definitely have every type available. But I go to this Ace Hardware for the service. The cashiers are always friendly. But the 5 star service goes to the older gentlemen who go out of their way to figure out what I need (half the time, I don't even know) and find it for me. I can't get that at other local big box hardware stores. I can't even get people to help me by cutting a piece of wood. But the personal service at Ace is worth the extra...
