It would be nice if donation hours were clearly posted. Online, hours are posted Tues.-Thur. 9-5, Sat.. 9-3, Sun. , Mon. closed. No hours posted on donation recieving door other than they open at 9am. Three layers deep in the website, donation hours are indicated in a single sentence at the end of a paragraph that "donations end an hour before close." This is unfortunate and easily remedied. My personal experience was showing up at 4:30pm, doors locked with no hours of operation signage. Someone inside, looked at me then looked away. No explanation. Again, no signage other than, closed. This read as rude, which is, unacceptable from either employee or volunteer. I am giving you lumber. I don't expect accolades but I do expect common courtesy. I did check hours of operation before loading and planned enough time to be unloaded well before what I was lead to believe was closing time. Read moreGreat place to shop around and support a great cause. Found the lightbulbs I needed for a fraction of the cost and you can test them to ensure they work before you buy them (as they are out of the package already). They were .25 to .50 cents from what I saw and a wide range of sizes and kinds. They had modern light fixtures that are deeply discounted from what you’d buy at a local hardware store and I would’ve been happy to put any of them in my house; they would’ve matched. Great place to get sinks, wood, NEW painting supplies, and tile. The inventory changes but it’s worth a look around to save money and contribute to Habitat helping change people’s lives...
