Extremely disappointed! I needed an older oak table (30 years) finished as it had dents and dings in it, I wanted the dings sanded out and the table restained. I dropped the table off in January and received the table back in April. The length of time was not an issue as we were moving into a new house. Joe was supposed to deliver the table but he refused to wait ten minutes so I could get him a pass. Really ten minutes??? So we picked the table up and of course it was covered in padding. We got the table home and discovered only the top of the table was stained the new color, nothing was done to the bottom of the table, since the new stain is darker, this was a huge disappointment. Worse than that the dings were still in the table, that is the reason it was taken to them sand the dings out!!! If that was not possible, they should have explained that to me. My wife and I have worked with Alison and Joe on many projects over the last 2.5 years. They initially designed a custom powder vanity, laundry room table, and all the bathroom mirrors for our new home. We were very happy with the outstanding quality and unique design.

Alison has a great eye and has helped my wife breathe new “low country” life into heirloom quality Amish furniture with her multi-layered distressed painting technique and coordinating upholstery selections. She has tackled a matching breakfast nook table, chairs, and bar stool collection, wooden and upholstered club chairs, and is currently working on a custom game table for an upstairs gathering area.

Alison has transformed three pieces of furniture for us. Before she performed her magic, each piece was drab and extremely unattractive. I could never have used them in their previous condition. Now, however, each piece is absolutely gorgeous, thanks to Alison's wonderful vision, skills, and attention to detail. She did a fabulous job of painting each piece, including beautiful detailing that is the signature of her work. Alison is a true artist, and she is as beautiful a person as the stunning work she produces. She and her husband Joe even picked up and delivered our furniture for us.
