My husband and I recently finished building a new home on HHI. The builder sent us to A.V. Outfitters for all of our AV, TV, internet, camera, alarm needs. We had no idea what we really wanted or needed and aren’t “technology” people. We didn’t want a “smart” house with complicated bells and whistles. We just wanted something that met our needs. Jim Smith was unbelievably patient in working with us and explaining our options. Our primary goal was to ensure that things worked seamlessly, and we could still have old-fashioned things like a DVD and a CD player. Jim and the installation / support team brought everything together. As we moved in and had questions, A.V Outfitters was there to explain things and make sure we knew how to operate everything. In addition to Jim, a special shout-out also to Nick Nestico. Just like Jim, Nick was so patient with us. Both of them made sure we were happy with our new system and everything was working as planned. One thing in particular, I am really glad that Jim recommended we install cameras on the perimeter of the house. Being able to hop on our cameras from our primary home and see what is happening at our house on the island is a game changer. We know if the service personnel have been there to pick up trash, service the pool, etc. We know how long they spent at the house, can see what they did, and we get alerts if someone is trespassing. From design to now on-going support, A.V. Outfitters as come through! Today they were on-site within an hour to get us back up and running after a lengthy Spectrum outage. Thank you...

The AVO Team was always courteous and professional. They were always on time and even wore booties inside the house during the post move in phase of the installation. They ensured that we understood how to use all of the installed technology - 4 zone Sonos, advanced Logitech remote, high end 9.2 surround sound, Nest security - we were comfortable with all of it before they wrapped up, and we signed up for their annual maintenance program to ensure they’ll be here if and when we need support.
