Great, great place to go to get the friendliest service and best Mexican food I ever had. I have been to Mexico 5x. I have eaten in many, many Mexican restaurants in America. La Poblanita wins the prize. But it's not only their wonderful food and staff. It's also the vibe. Eat outside in any weather under roof, but with all sides open and enjoy not just La Poblanita - but also SOUTH CAROLINA!! No "starched shirts" here! Prices - more than fair. My wife and I had tacos - the best ever. You go up to the order window and whatever you want - order it. The tacos come out hot with your choice of protein on it and then - go to town and load it at another couple of stations with whatever you. want. Make it spicy by choice or like me, add no sauce, neither spicey or mild. I added the best refried beans I have tasted and wonderful reddish rice. As a bonus I also threw some wonderful Cole slaw on my tacos. As Campbell Soup says - "m, m good! (Great) My wife when first ordering had tomatoes and lettuce put on her tacos plus melted cheese. On the weekends there is a giant and long smoker going, constantly cooking up great tasting chicken. You can order any pieces or portions you want. Yummy! You can also order any portion up to the whole chicken, to go. Can't beat this place for all it offers. Go there and taste for yourself....

Amazing outdoor food/taco stand - and this is coming from someone who lives in Texas! I have VERY high (ok, maybe too high & quasi unrealistic) standards for my tacos and there is literally no other place in Bluffton/HHI that even comes close to how good and authentic this was!

Ordered at the window (2x pastor, 1x camaron/shrimp, 1x passion fruit agua fresca) and it was ready less than ten mins later. Pretty efficient set up with the stand prepping the meats/tortillas and a help-yourself salsa bar to the far right that has all the missing elements (cilantro, onion, pickled onion, cabbage, radishes, peppers, salsa). Highly recommend the pastor/shrimp tacos and the green salsa (perfect level of spice) and the passion fruit agua tasted sooo fresh. This honestly tasted almost identical to the tacos I had in Mexico, minus the 25c. price tag (can’t have it all, I guess).

If you are a Mexican food fan, this place is a must try. However… wouldn’t recommend it to the individuals out there who think black pepper is “too hot” or those that put pre-shredded American cheese on...

Unfortunately LaPoblanita does not pass the test of serving good, edible food for me. In Mexico it is totally possible to have a great meal, while enjoying a host of offerings that are not spicy, if desired. I cannot tolerate "spicey" food and told my waitress this fact. The hot peppers were left off my chicken tacos, however the chicken pieces, seeming pre-cut, were covered with pepper. My tounge and esophagus were burning. I could not eat these tacos. I wanted an order of guacamole for one, which is offered on the menu, but was told it was pre-made and also made with pepper. I did not order that dish. Then, there was a singer or "screamer" really, who gave 6 of us a headache. We don't speak or understand Spanish, so that made his "noise", seemingly at full blast while performing 2 tables away from us - worse. He had a sparse group of people in our room partake in Kereoke, and again their "screaming", not singing, was also only in Spanish and off key, even for talking/"singing". This was not in any way - an enjoyable experience for any of the 6 of...

This has been our ‘go to’ restaurant for Mexican cuisine for nearly 7 years. I am remiss in not reviewing it previously. This is as authentic as we have in the area. The food is well prepared and presented. Owners go out of their way to use fresh ingredients. The food is excellent . The service is superb. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. Moreover, it is one of the cleanest restaurants that we have found. This trip we shared the mixed fajitas and had a margarita. Everything was terrific. Live music was playing from the rear dining room. Plenty of Hispanic families enjoying themselves which probably provides credence to its authenticity. Highly recommend.

Very cool little permanent food truck next to a great hispanic market. I had three different tacos, my wife had a quesadilla, all were great. Lots of different hot sauces to choose from, and be careful, some are HOT! Just realize, they only give you the tortillas and meat at the indow on the left, you have to go to the window on the right to put all your toppings and sauces on. The market itself has a ton of stuff you won't find in a regular grocery store.
