I have eaten here quite a few times and the food and drinks have been very good however , the host with blonde hair and a bull nose earring was extremely unprofessional and rude today; sadly we actually decided to take our nightly outing elsewhere. It is very sad to be treated like this in such a high end place that we were starting to love coming too , however for what we spend coming here being talked to with an attitude and very unaccommodating nature I’m not sure if we will be returning . We live here and Boca and love learning the servers and making restaurants our Home and this girl was not fit for this atmosphere . The second she pulled our name up and saw how often we frequent here toned changed but she really had no business being the face of the establishment. The (4) people ahead of us asked how long the wait was .. no reservation and she said she had nothing available outside but inside for 4 would be only a few minutes , the group decided to leave and we were next in line. I said two for inside please , she said sorry our tables are full for the night you can see if you can find a seat at the bar , I told her I wanted to make a reservation for next Available seating and she said oh well it’s going to be at least an hour and I really don’t know what will be available . Clearly being pushed out never mind the awful smug attitude , and seemed as though she thought we were going to take up a table where more money could be spent even though we spend $240 plus just me and my Husband …. Anyways terrible let down for our place were we’re starting to love but the energy was just bad, that being said no...
Read moreOne of the best restaurants to open in a long time. People who were starting to think that Bonefish Grill is a place to go to fish will have to go here to what find out what real fresh and well prepared seafood is like. Unusual and interesting dishes and don't be afraid of the spice because they can eliminate or tune it down if you are concerned. I went with a party of 4 foodies and it was a wonderful evening. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant and conducive to our being able to talk and not feel rushed. The only down side, and this is a big one which will have to be fixed if they are to succeed, is that the mixed bar drinks were less than stellar. One in our party is a martini expert and she had to turn away her drink. A 2nd guest said that her drink was not muddled enough. Those in our party who did not drink could care less but for people who do this is a big deal. On the upside the wine list is excellent and we were able to find really interesting choices.
Make sure you try the Shrimp Diablo with the corn pancake, Which was nothing short of one of the best dishes my friend had ever had in her life. The desserts were different, but nothing specisl. I would have been happy to just have a coffee and end the meal on an open note. I should point out that they had some very interesting starters put on the table such as the lightly fried plantain strips with their own special nut butter on the side.
I do hope this place does well because it is their 1st week open and if they can make some minor adjustments this can be one of the truly excellent seafood houses...

Nestled in the heart of Boca, Corvina Seafood serves up an oceanic adventure that's equal parts thrilling and occasionally frustrating. The restaurant's commitment to freshness is admirable, but it might leave you feeling like you've missed the boat on some tantalizing options.
On our visit, the kitchen had already 86'd the scallop special, the tempting Jumbo Lump Crab Linguini 'Fra Diavolo, and even the dessert special before we could say "ahoy." While this speaks volumes about the restaurant's popularity and dedication to serving only the freshest fare, it's a tad disappointing for diners with their hearts set on specific dishes.
However, don't jump ship just yet. The attentive staff and managers navigate these choppy waters with the grace of seasoned sailors. They're quick to offer alternatives and ensure your dining experience stays afloat. The bartender personally delivered our drinks, adding a touch of VIP treatment to the evening.
As for the food that did make it to our table? Absolutely shipshape. Each dish was a testament to why Corvina's specials fly off the menu faster than you can say "seafood." The flavors were on point, reminding us why we came in the first place.
While you might not always get your first choice at Corvina Seafood, the exceptional service and delectable dishes that do arrive make it worth casting your net here. Just remember to arrive early or be prepared to go with the flow – after all, that's part of the adventure of fresh...
