Upgraded all my household bulbs to LED's. I like that not only did i get ComEd discounts, B+ also was able to further discount my purchases with bulk purchasing; something maybe only known to repeat customers. Staff is knowledgable and always greet me at the door (and all customers from what ive seen). Best prices on batteries and bulbs.... seriously. So much more mark up when buying these things in other retail stores. I also recall a time when i had a defective bulb about three months later, and they replaced it hassle free. Seems silly for most ppl to make a special trip for just batteries and bulbs, but I do it for the respect i get, and not necessarily to save money. It's true customer service/companies like B+ make me come back to support them regardless of saving or spending more. When businesses care (or dont care) about their customers, customers have the power to keep them in business by supporting them through purchases, or put them out of business by choosing to spend elsewhere. Its easy to shop at Walmart and goto corporate greed giants to save money. But aside from a good price, did they ensure you'd be happy with that purchase? Although cheap, will the product last as long as the businesses that stands by their products? Would a corporate greed giant have given me a new bulb at no cost and truly treat you as a caring customer - hell no i would have paid for it again, and again. For me personally, even though its cheaper, we as consumers can take a fight against corporate greed by choosing who we spend our hard earned money on. Read moreThis place broke my mothers watch band. Then they blamed her for forcing them to change the battery in the watch. They said there employee was only twenty years old and inexperienced. She insisted that they repair the broken band. The manager repeatedly lied and then yelled at an eighty eight your old woman. After she talked to another employee the watch band was repaired and after a few weeks it was returned to her. She went back and got the watch and asked for an apology for the behavior of Mitch the manager and an employee for lying to her repeatedly and for providing false information to her. The manager Mitch refused to say I am sorry . She left the store and then Mitch the manger followed her out to her car and proceeded to take pictures of her car and license plate. What the hell is wrong with these people. Do not patronize a business that damages your property then yells at an elderly woman. Then tries to intimidate her by photographing her car and license plate! Screw you Battery Plus I hope that you go out of business and your franchise is revoked. Response to your response: You mean the store manager who yelled at an 88 year old woman then followed her out to her car taking pictures of her and her license plate? Mitch you really want me to talk to that piece of trash? A guy who instead of saying I am sorry for me and my employees lying to you harassed a senior citizen. Read moreThis place says they are experts in fixing cell phones and that they can change the iPhone battery, so on 11/26/24 I took my iPhone 12 to replace the battery and after an hour they gave it to me and I realized that the face id was off, when I got home I tried to turn it on, but it didn't work, so I went back to the place and the same person tried to fix it. I waited another hour for the guy to tell me that unfortunately the face id cable was broken, that the phone worked fine but that he couldn't fix it, that I should take it to the Apple store. He gave me my money back, but he broke the face id cable that costs $300.
