This restaurant was AWESOME when it first opened. I would go all the time. I thought it was much better than my favorite place in Romeoville.
It seems to me that the quality of the sushi has gone down. The rolls are not rolled tight. When you try to pick it up it falls apart. Fighting loose sushi rolls does not make a pleasant dining experience for me. And I LOVE the volcano roll but they way the cut this roll now makes no sense and is very difficult to pick up. Yesterday it was cut diagonally and weird.
Another common problem that I have noticed is incomplete orders. We would order different appetizers and/or rolls and we just would not get them all. We would have to remind them of missing items often. I can understand if it happens rarely, things happen, but this has become the norm and not the exception.
Finally I'm noticing the presentation of dishes has gone WAYYYYYY down. It's not uniform. Different people at the same table would order the same dish and it would not be the same at all. Different serving dish and different presentation.
It would be great to get the service and food that we used to get when this restaurant first opened. It was awesome food, for great value. Well worth the price. Now i don't think so.

Read moreI wasnt treated like a valuable customer here. I ordered food & was brought a portion of it before someone brought me the rest of it waaay after it was ordered. And guess what? They packed it TO GO. I was dining in with my 2 kids. Just a quiet dinner. I had ordered 2 crab rolls of which I received 1. Then I was asked if I was ready for the check? No...Im ready for the rest of my meal. So I explained I was a roll short & since I didnt get it..I would like to change my roll. So after sitting & watching them cater to everyone but my family..the waitress comes to ask me if I was ordering an additional roll because she had already brought me 1 of what I had told the other waiter to get for me. I hate it tht I even left the small tip tht I did leave because this trip deserved no tip at all. They catered to their own. A large Asian family of 8 was served & done before I could get 4 sushi rolls. After seeing the pecking order here..I will not return. And...they lost a good tipper. Read moreI'll give them one star because their Diet Coke was okay. Their service was horrible!!! I took my husband (Sushi Lover) for the $19.99 all you can eat Lunch deal. My husband placed his order on that magical piece of paper and was so happy with his choice. I, on the other hand am not a fish eater so I was looking at the vegetarian dishes and told the waitress to give me a minute. She looked at my husband's order and with a really serious face asked him "are you going to eat all of that?" My husband and I looked at her with a look of disbelief and answered "yes" looking very shocked. But wait there's more.....I forgot to mention that I placed an order of tempura veggies. During all of The disbelief and shock my husband's order of edamame was served first and being the gentleman he is, he offered me one....THAT'S when the waitress came back and said "you can't do that!!!!"
