Collective Consignment — Local services in Bonita Springs

I'm not super happy. We have bought a couple of things here. I do understand policy, however there has to be exceptions to every rule. I guess it's not totally their fault, but we bought a lift recliner. They had two of them. They were consignment pieces but appeared newer. We bought one and it broke as soon as we got it home. I tried to call them and they don't answer the phones. I had to leave a vague message and when they did call me back I explained the chair broke the immediately. I did not expect a refund, but the chair was $500! They could have offered a discount on another chair. Any kind of customer service at all. She said call the manufacturer. There was no manufacturer info on the chair anywhere. I wish it weren't painful to just lose...
