I've been going to Seaside on and off since they first opened just before lockdowns in 2020. As a partial regular I can definitely vouch for their quality food, service, and entertainment. I finally got around to writing a review cause they do deserve your business and because, for those visiting or wintering here, if you lost your go-to bar spot because of Hurricane Ian, I highly recommend you give Seaside a try.
Some other key points that may lure you in. Good drink specials ($15 Bottomless Mimosas on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm is one of the best deals around). They also upped the ante with a great brunch buffet on Sundays. And finally, and most importantly for me (while Seaside has generally always had good wait staff, managers and bartenders), your football Sunday afternoon bartender tandem of Christina and David are top notch. They make great drinks, keep a clean bar (very important being an open aired bar/no bugs/not smelly), and are very prompt. Their best quality is that they are welcoming to everyone which makes for a super fun environment with the other patrons during the NFL games on Sunday. As a business professional, I know quality people/employees are hard to find and make all the difference....

We were seated right away as it wasn't very busy yet. It did take a while for our server to get to us initially, and to follow-up afterwards to check on drinks and take plates away. But she was certainly friendly and did a fine job otherwise.
The food was very good. We got the Cheesy Artichoke Dip and Chicken Taquitos for apps. The artichoke dip was good, but the taquitos were far better. Get those. For dinner we got tacos since it was Taco Palooza Tuesday. Blackened Grouper and Fajita Shrimp Tacos. Both were delicious, I'd say the shrimp tacos were slightly better.
They had live music that started shortly after we arrived. I always appreciate any establishment that has live music. The volume was quite loud though. Made it extremely difficult to talk to each other during the songs. I'll concede that we were seated right up by the stage, but even given that I thought it was overly loud. Just needs to be a good background is all.
Overall though, great spot, great food....
Read moreThis was our first time there and it was about 8pm. They weren't extremely busy but maybe just finished the dinner crowd because there were dirty tables that were already bussed just needing wiped down. There is an upstairs but it wasn't crowded, plenty of places to sit downstairs so that's where we sat. The food came out quick and was definitely flavorful. We had the chips and guacamole as an appetizer and the smash burger and mushroom swiss burger both with regular fries for dinner. The burgers were both ordered medium and came a bit over but were still juicy and really good, tons of flavor. If you like blue cheese and a bit of mild heat the smash burger was a flavor bomb! The fries are good, crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. The staff was attentive and friendly, they were on top of refills. We will definitely...
