Sadly over the past few years ...not only here but most Marshalls have went downhill, with prices that are not as affordable as you might expect, I arrived here and was disappointed to see prices the same or close to as much as you'd pay at a department store .the worse complaint was the customer service.. I thought I was in the middle of a joke. How many people does it take to ??? In my case I went to check out and saw 5 register lights on with 3 manning them, a call came in and that turned to 1 at the register who went back and forth to the phone, and I might add,though only 1 who was returning items before me..after 15 min's.. I had a line of 4 more customers behind me .. it took ( I timed them) a total of 28 minutes to finally be at the register..and I add that at least 3 other employees came to the front, looking our way and ignored us. As a matter of fact even stood there joking and talking to the other coworkers.. so right as I came to the point of walking out ... I finally was called to the register..would I go here again? ..no, would I recommend going to this particular Marshalls?.. no.. and to make it worse..after I got home..I discovered one of my purchases..was ripped, I decided to not even bother returning but to bite the bullet and at the worse warn anyone else to think twice before...
   Read moreI went this morning to buy a pair of shoes for my wife. The price of the shoes was 29.99 when I got home. Both shoes were right side so I drove back to the store which took about 50 minutes. I explained to the same cashier that rang me up earlier that morning. I explained what had happened, and she told me to go grab another pair and they would exchange it. I actually found the box that had both of the left side shoes. And when I took it to the cashier at the front. She told me that I had a $5 difference. Because the shoes were now 35.99. When I asked her why there was a price difference. She explained to me that the vendors that sell them. The shoes sell them the same at different times and then all the clothes in the store is priced like that. Whatever comes in gets charged at that price. So, in reality, the same shirt might have 2 or 3 different prices. And you wouldn't know until you paid for it. I told the lady that I found that to be insane. She told me that the way the store works. I don't think I'm going to be shopping at...
   Read moreDuring my visit it was clear there was a happy event going on with the employees because I saw a conglomeration of them getting together, then cheering. Soon after that, one of the employees barreled through the back aisle nearly plowing into two customers while stuffing food into her face. Another employee had total disregard for customers, and shoved a cart into my path so I had to stop short. This was in the main aisle, and she pretended not to notice me there. After an hour of browsing, I'd found a few items that I would have liked to purchase. However, I ended up walking out because the line to get to the cashiers rivals that of a ride at Disney. I'm not sure where all the other employees went that had been partying previously. I feel like they could have stepped up to help. What a complete waste of time for me, and loss of sale for the business. I'm sure this happens often, where people put their items down and walk out. What a shame for everyone. Following up months later, the lack of response from Marshalls...
