My phone is Samsung Note 10, about 1 year usage, new from Verizon. There are minor charging issues that Alper said he knows how to fix.
Alper kept my phone overnight. He returned the phone to me the next day and said he cannot fix it. He charged me $90.
At this time, phone still doesn’t work so I brought it to UBREAKIFIX (a Samsung authorized repair shop).
I found out later that Alper did not put all my original parts into the phone and that caused me to lose warranty.
UBREAKIFIX found that there are 2 parts are not original. These parts are also broken, torn and caused more damage to my phone. UBREAKIFIX did not need to charge me money for checking my phone. I took the phone to another repair shop in Parsippany to confirm UBREAKIFIX’s findings and confirms the same problems with no charge as well.
I found out at UBREAKIFIX that my phone is actually in warranty at Samsung, so with Alper’s work, my phone can no longer be repaired or replaced by Samsung.
This is very sloppy, dishonest and unprofessional work. I will be suing Alper.

Read moreBuyer beware! We had an iPhone 7 battery replaced at Device Surgeon and the battery is basically useless 3 months later. Battery initially indicated 99% "Health", but quickly degraded over the next two months to a health rating in the 60% range. Now, the phone barely lasts 1 hour during use.
Well, maybe we got a bum battery. It happens. But when we brought the iPhone back to ask if they would swap out the obviously defective battery, we were turned away. Device Surgeon just said they don't provide any warranty and there was nothing they could do. Great; thanks for taking my $75.
As a business, the least they could have done is swap in another battery. What could it have cost them? $6-7? We can only ascertain that they are using cheap/defective batteries, charging a premium for them, and looking the other way when confronted with any issues.

I sent it to Texas to Samsung authorized tech and after two months had the same problem. I found Device Surgeon in Boonton NJ and took it to the best mobile tech in the business for 22 years named ALPER AKCAY. As per my request, he changed the wireless charger, wired module charging port and the battery. The phone is perfectly working now, with no problems. He fixed my phone in one day. Alper is amazing. There is no phone that he can't fix. I am so happy that I found him to fix my Note 10 Plus. He is better than the Samsung techs which they did not even open my phone up to fix the problem while it was under warranty from Samsung. Shame on you Samsung.
