We recently used Boston Hidden Gems to help plan and execute a private, multi-day corporate group trip in Boston, and I can confidently say they exceeded expectations on all fronts. While they offer group tours to the public, we worked with them for a custom executive itinerary tailored specifically to our needs—and they delivered.
From the very beginning, the team was responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. They clearly know Boston inside and out, and their recommendations—from sightseeing and dining to logistics—were spot-on for our group.
What really stood out was the level of care and attention to detail. The company founder personally met up with us and provided a warm orientation upon arrival, which was a wonderful touch. Our guides, Alexandra and Jenny, were both professional and courteous, and they ensured our group felt well taken care of throughout the trip. They even thoughtfully provided umbrellas for every member of our group, which came in handy and was much appreciated.
The drivers for our sightseeing and outlet shopping excursions were also top-notch—punctual, professional, and accommodating. Given the level of service and the premium nature of our needs, the pricing felt justified.
Highly recommend Boston Hidden Gems if you’re looking for a reliable, high-touch destination management company in Boston—whether it’s for a public group tour or a fully customized private...

I went with Boston Hidden Gems tour guides twice within 2 days.
First, I MIT and Havard on a tour with Alex on New Year's Eve.I've always been a MIT fan, but I gained a much higher appreciation of both campuses! Alex was so immensely nice and helpful, and her funny stories and engaging ways of telling them made this easily something I will never forget!
Next, I went on a tour of Lexington and Concord, which was on New Year's Day. To be honest, I was suprised a tour company would even give tours on New Year's, so props to them for that alone. Now at first, I assumed this would be a simple tour of the landmarks of the fight only, but I was wrong. The tour went all over Lexington and Concord, going to visit famous author's houses (who knew 4 extremely famous people could live in such a small town at once!), and Author's Ridge, which was super cool (see photos below). This tour was with Mark, who's humor and kindness made this tour at least 10 times better.
I am so happy that of all the tour guides I could have chosen, I ended up with Boston Hidden Gems! This was definitely an experience I will not forget. Thank you, Boston Hidden Gems, for making my Boston vacay so enjoyable and...
Read moreI was lucky enough to spend four days on tour with this incredible company. They listened to what I really wanted to see and then created a perfect set of packages to accomodate those wishes. I ultimately saved a lot of money and got such a better experience for it. We toured Boston's must see sights and walked the Freedom Trail. This was a fantastic way to learn where we wanted to spend more of our time on our other vacation days. We also toured Lexington and Concord. This is the dream tour for anyone who is a literature or history enthusiast. We also toured the Hammond Castle and Salem. Everywhere we went we were entertained with stories and insights that no other tour was offering. When you travel to Boston, there are tours everywhere and you have tons of options. None of them can compete with the level of personal care and attention provided by Hidden Gems. Special thanks to Maria and Chris for planning such thoughtful and perfect days for our vacation. And of course to Riley and Jenny who made every moment special and memorable. We are already planning our next adventure with...
