Dewitt Center — Local services in Boston

I was there for 6 hours and the experience wasn't one I would ever do again. The volunteers were giving all the good and big toys to the people they knew and would give them even 4 toys which was unfair to the kids who actually wanted toys. People would ask for a toys and they would deny and say the toys were theirs. They were very disrespectful and screaming at many people. They claimed those toys were theirs because they registered but from what I know volunteers don't get toys or register. I'm very disappointed because the toys I asked for I didn't receive and I have a son and a daughter and they gave me two little toys for boys. I hope someone can see this and report this bad behavior to the volunteers who helped everyone and hopefully this doesn't happen next Christmas when all kids want is to be...

Tonight Christmas party was horrible....very unorganized. To get toys you were being yelled at and my 13 year old received a bike for a two year old because all the big bike that were donated by big brother big sister were taken by people who volunteer and given to their kids. I was so disgusted with the way this party was handle that I didn't receive toys for my child and the people who were in the back of the line did not receive toys because when it came 5pm volunteers were shutting down shop, I felt bad because they waited a long time in that line. Hopefully next year they would have better...

The center was nice inside. Glad they had early registration Saturday. I feel any building that has voting allow seniors and people with cane inside ahead of others standing 8n line it was 44 and shade on side of building outside and windy. But...
