I want to give the owner of this redred kitchen an advice. Stop letting Spanish people cook Ghanaian food. I came there personally to order some foods and I can tell you those Spanish workers don’t care about how the food is made.
Let Ghanaians cook the food because it’s a Ghanaian restaurant. Simple as that 🤷♂️. This isn’t an issue. The Spanish cooks cook it their way and I don’t blame them because they are Spanish and just like you can’t expect them to speak a foreign language.
I know this because the food used to be good but now it’s bad. If the Spanish workers aren’t willing to learn how to cook the food the Ghanaian way, let them go because they no longer of a service . And make sure a Ghanaian cook is in charge.
You can’t let Spanish people be in charge of the cooking and still call it West African restaurant. I mean that doesn’t make sense. Call it a Spanish restaurant if that’s the case. Since you chose to cook it the Spanish way. Do you think Ghanaians and other West Africans don’t know how their own food tastes.
And more importantly there are other races that are not Africans but just want to taste West African food. And it also affects them. It isn’t just about west African but to anyone that loves West African food❤️. Please be serious Mr. Restaurant Owner

Read moreThe food was incredibly bad! Me and my partner went here expecting to receive quality food from an authentic restaurant, but it’s a ghost kitchen that serves cold old food. They were somehow out of all of the jollof plate, but somehow were selling the waakye +jollof rice plate. So it’s really confusing to me because clearly they were not out of jollof rice. They were out of puff puff, and were out of half of their full menu. I ordered a side of spaghetti, and it was the most foul and vile tasting spaghetti that I have ever had. It tasted old, was very cold, and like it was made 3 days ago. I spent $30 for food that was made 3 days ago and was microwaved and then served to me as authentic. The jollof rice was horrific. I have been eating jollof rice my whole life, and that was not it. The waakye had dry beans, was tasteless. The chicken looked and tasted old. Me and my partner had such high expectations after seeing a review on Instagram. And we were severely disappointed. We came to redred kitchen Wednesday afternoon at around 2 and we will not be coming back, and I will recommend this place to no one. Me and my partner actually threw out our food, and went to suya joint after. Please do better and stop disgracing...
Read moreCannot recommend a restaurant less. I never write reviews unless the restaurant is truly awful because I don't want to affect a business, but nobody should waste their money here.
The bofrot/puff puff I received was entirely inedible, burnt to hell. There is no way this was unintentional, as you can see from how burnt they were. There isn't an argument that maybe the chef thought they were a little over - these were solid, charred balls of dough.
The puff puff is a good representation of the rest of the meal. The meat pie - dry and tasteless. It was just ground beef and a few chopped carrots in the lukewarm pastry. The chicken with the jollof had the most bizarre taste. I'm the least fussy eater, so for me to think the chicken was bad means that this chicken was truly something (terrible).
The only saving grace was the jollof rice and the tiny dollop of stew they put on top. I did, unfortunately, have to enjoy itt on its own because of the charred and weird taste of the chicken.
Again, I hate to talk poorly of a business, especially an African one, because I love supporting my people, but this was ghastly, and I don't want anybody else to waste...
