There are two things that I did not like about this place. Firstly, Kent was in too much of a rush to cut my hair and barely spent around 10 minutes to get it done. I actually had to trim my own hair once I came back home and saw in greater detail the result of the haircut as he did not even hold a mirror for me to see it all around. Secondly, this place does not take cards. Thats fine but I was not told it's a cash only place when I took the appointment the day before. I was told only after the haircut. Kent made an exception and let me pay electronically, but such oversight is always a bad sign of disorganization which is also why he was rushed because he had kept others waiting and wanted to get done with me as quickly as possible. For the price I paid ($50+tips) I expect better service. I could have got a better haircut at a much cheaper salon.

I highly recommend Kent. He is highly skillful and familiar with a wide variety of hair styles and qualities. What is often not emphasized enough is that everyone has different hair quality and preference, a truly talented hairstylist must not only have skills for the hair treatment, but also the high intelligence for problem solving and making aesthetic judgement by considering the other aspects of the client as a whole. Kent has been my hair stylist for the past 3 years, ever since he was recommended to me for my wedding hair cut.
