I am absolutely disgusted with what had occurred at this autozone today. I had to go to autozone today to get a license plate frame for my girlfriends accord because the one given from the dealership for her temp tags was broken. So, we had gone in and looked for some, but had found none that she or I had really liked. However, when going to leave, the scanner had gone off at the door and we were stopped by an older man with grayish hair and a tall stature who told us to come back in immediately. He immediately insisted that we had attempted to steal something from the store, and began by asking for everything out of my pockets. I handed over my keys, wallet, phone, pulled up my shirt to show my waist line, took off my hat, and allowed him to run all of my belongings through the scanner that had gone off. Throughout this, he said almost nothing to me and simply said only what he wanted to try through the door. I checked out, which then prompted him to turn to my girlfriend. This is where I was truly disgusted. He looked at my girlfriend and told her that if she didn’t decide to “give it up” that she would be strip searched and the police would be called. I immediately responded with “she has nothing, nothing of that nature will happen”. He then walked away and a few minutes and later came back and told us to leave and never come back. I am a regular in this store for many of my car parts and detailing products, however even if I was not informed to never come back, I would never even glance an eye at this establishment again. I am absolutely appalled by the actions of this man and I sincerely hope that action is taken against him. I suggest no one use this...

I come into this store regularly, and although I see the team as polite and helpful I don't quite get the experience when the customer service manager Stephen is in most mornings. Not only is he pleasant he makes sure to greet everyone as hectic as some days I've been there have been. He goes above and beyond to help or he asked someone a part of their team to assist. Even when he is assisting other patrons and unavailable he does direct you in the direction of where and what you are looking for and will make sure to check if you found it when he's done with what he was taking care of for another customer first. he makes sure you know he hasn't forgotten about you and trys his best to assist in help finding the product if they may not have it on hand, contacting different locations and if you're unable to go-to another or they don't have it at the other location they order on the spot for next day pick up. I've had greater experiences within the last few months in this auto zone in Bound Brook then I've had in years or in many stores this year for that matter. I appreciate the men at this store but especially the manager Stephen, thank you. Keep up the good work guys. I usually don’t give any negative feed back but this was a bad & uncomfortable experience I order a part that they didn’t have in stock the counter guy an (old man)promised to have the part next day And he claim someone will call me when the part arrive and I didn’t received any call like he state and call 2 days latter and he said that the part was there anyways I went to pick it up and the same guy told me the part wasn’t there and that the comercial guy left at 5:30 and I told him that I did called before and the guy told me that nobody called before anyways I was stunned by the treat but I did have one more and final request and I try another part and he told me that they didn’t have that part and give me a “Mikey Mouse” excuse now I’m a automotive technician since 1986 and I never felt so negative treated this bad and I think it may be the way I look because Of my race I don’t know all I can said it’s that it was a bad bad situation I went to the auto parts half mile from that auto parts and it was day and night...
