I’ve been to this place a few times, and although I was impressed at first and the salon is contemporary, my experiences have just gone downhill from there:
They never answer their phone, despite calling multiple times and every time I need a haircut. Ever. I have to go in and make an appointment.
The last time I walked in, all the stylists were at the front desk computer looking at something and didn’t bother to acknowledge me at first; when they did, they just looked at me very awkward and stood there with disturbing looks on their faces. And yes I was wearing a mask. I finally I said I needed to make an appointment and then they seemed fine, but no apologies or anything, as if I interrupted their rendezvous.
Forget about asking about their products; explaining them or answering questions on samples or pricing is completely out of their way. The atmosphere I found to be cold and somewhat shallow: everyone is blonde and the niceties seem so forced. I get the shop label, but there’s no individuality in there whatsoever.
My hairstylist did a great job at first, but once I started becoming a regular, the work became average. It seemed great in the salon until I got home and noticed how all details were left out and I had quite a few free hairs.
At the end of it all, It just seemed rushed and and like they’re trying to get you out the door, but while being pleasant when necessary. I went to this one because it was much closer and I don’t have a car anymore, but I’ll spend the extra money on a taxi and go back to my salon , a way better one: “Cake Hair Salon.” Well worth the price...
Read moreI went in for a haircut with a new stylist and got the worst haircut I’ve ever had. (The pictures don’t do it justice) I went from mid-length hair to a long bob. I asked for a slight a-line with no layers, but she actually cut it longer in the back, completely uneven, with chunks of hair 1/2 inch longer than the rest of my hair.
I couldn’t tell that it was a bad cut when I left the salon because the stylist curled my hair. Then when I first washed my hair I was pretty disappointed/frustrated. Then I straightened it for the first time, and I saw it was even worse than I had realized. I FaceTimed my friend and cousin who do hair and their jaws dropped that I was allowed to leave the salon how I did. Like it’s very obviously poorly done - not just a matter of preference.
I emailed the salon and also called and left a voicemail, and I still haven’t heard back 6 days later. (The voicemail message says they’ll return calls within 48 hours)
I had previously been a client at Blondies for a few years for Balayage and trims, until I ended up following one of their hairstylists to her own independent salon. My previous experiences at Blondies were totally fine - so I was pretty disappointed in the bad haircut and then even more disappointment with the lack of communication from...
Read moreI've been getting my hair done by Christine for almost 2 years and the last two times I've needed her to fix my hair because there were things that needed to be fixed that didn't turn out good. This last time I reached out to her on three different occasions for my hair to be fixed with no response. I then called the studio to talk with Jessica the owner which said there's not much she can do besides to reach out to Christine to see if she would get back to me. I still have yet to hear anything back from her and had to find someone else to fix my hair. With paying hundreds of dollars for your hair to be done you should be able to feel confident your hairdresser will do everything she can to have your hair turn out well. I feel very disappointed that after being a loyal client of over 2 years this is how I'm treated. I was left being ignored, with hair that looked like I had grow out for 4 weeks when it just got done and the back half looking completely different then the front half, on top of that having to pay more money and find someone else to fix it. I will not be returning, and I do...
