Touché — Local services in Bountiful

I went into the store yesterday for the first time with my grandma. My grandma loves this store and knows the owner. They have really cute things and a great selection of novelty items. My grandma had attended a fashion show for this store and they offered 20% at the store for going. My grandma has only had great experiences at this store until yesterday. The lady at the front was saying how busy it had been and micromanaging the worker next to her. My grandma asked for the 20% for some cherry chocolates she was buying and the lady responded, “It’s only $4, you don’t need the discount.” She said this in front of another customer that was also in line. This was embarrassing for my grandma and incredibly demeaning and unprofessional. My grandma try’s to support local business and had for several years. This worker was rude and unkind to my grandma. So surprised at the one negative comment. I have been in this store so many times and the employees are so nice and helpful. Great selection of clothing and gifts. Definitely an open minded staff with no judgment of religious beliefs or any other. I think if you find a problem in this store you should probably “check yourself”. My guess is there...
