Please go support this little cafe! Annie and all of the employees there are just the sweetest!

My brother and I hadn’t seen each other in two years and decided to meet at Annie’s to catch up. We arrived at 12:00 and it was pretty busy. There were a handful of people seated, but the majority of the traffic was for to-go orders. Once that cleared up, they apologized for the wait and seated us. Moments after being seated, this wonderful human being came over with free samples of crepe cake. It was so good!!!

I love how small and comfy this cafe is. The decor is very tasteful and the dishes are so cute. The ladies at the table behind us ordered tea and they brought out the cutest pink teapot for them. I also appreciate how they utilized the space. It’s a smaller space, but we didn’t feel crammed next to the other tables and had plenty of space to talk. There was background noise, but not too much noise.

My brother has some food sensitivities which puts him on a strict vegan diet. Luckily they had a vegan option on the menu, but they did let us know that they could make other vegan crepes. He stuck with the Savory Vegan Crepe from the menu. It was full of veggies and covered with a mushroom sauce. He usually doesn’t like mushrooms (or crepes), but he loved his meal.

There were so many good crepes to choose from, but I went with the Loaded Chorizo. It came out with a little side of salsa (I wish it came with more). That was the best savory crepe I’ve ever had in my life! It was absolutely delicious and there was so much of it! We definitely didn’t leave Annie’s hungry.

As I said earlier, my brother and I had a lot of catching up to do, so we were just talking away and not paying any attention to the time. We were enjoying our conversation while sipping on our coffees (black house coffee and a cookie butter latte). An employee approached our table and asked if we had ordered crepes. We told her yes, what we ordered, and then didn’t think anything of it. Before this (not long after being seated) our waiter was done with their shift, so they left the bill at the table (which was no problem at all). The employee who asked if we had ordered crepes came over and took the bill. She apologized for the wait and wanted to take 30% off of the bill. My brother instantly declined, but she insisted, so I said we’d come back to support this business. After all, we hadn’t even realized the long wait because we were so invested in the conversation.

Our food was brought out not long after that and it was soooooo good!!! I’m going to be thinking about my crepe and coffee for a long time!

When we were almost done eating, Annie stopped by our table with a $20 voucher and apologized for the long wait. She said our food ticket got lost and that’s why we waited so long. We really appreciated her sincerity. Mistakes happen though…and we really didn’t even notice. I love that she gave us the coupon, but we most likely won’t use it because we want to truly support this business.

I will 100% come back for more crepes and coffee. I showed my husband and kids the photos and now they’re begging to go.

P.S. They make crepe cakes! I’ll be buying one for my...

Update: we went back and tried their tea service. We won’t be back.

A lot of the pastries were over cooked or even burned and the balance of flavors with everything else was off.

Servers were not attentive and I actually had to get up once to ask for to go boxes when we didn’t see them for a lengthy amount of time.

I think I was mostly disappointed because that tea service alone is $100 with a $30 gratuity. To have items be burned was extremely disappointing.

—- I really wanted to give them five stars. The food is fantastic. The owner is a gem. We struggled with the service of the other staff members.

First, the good. We got a cappuccino (I love coffee), muffuletta sandwich, and the Philly crepe. The crepe was definitely the star of the show and we can’t wait to go back. The sandwich was just ok, although the side salad was tasty. We did wish it had tomatoes or a little something extra. I’d also order a coffee there again. Nothing fancy but tasted delish.

The greeter was incredibly unfriendly. We kind of stood around for a bit without any interaction. I asked about the cake display and it almost seemed like I was an inconvenience.

Our waitress was nice, but she refused to take our food order with our drink order, which was super odd for me. She also wasn’t super knowledgeable with menu items and didn’t have recommendations.

The owner did stop by our table when I asked a question about the tea service and she was great! Because of her we decided that we will be coming back to try more items.

It is a little pricy. But I feel like the food was good...

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Annie’s Café for the first time, and I cannot say enough good things about this charming local gem. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, with fresh flowers adding a thoughtful touch to the space. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating an environment where guests feel comfortable, valued, and truly at home.

One detail that stood out to me was the accessibility and thoughtfulness of the restroom design. They have bars and handles available for assistance shows a level of care that is often overlooked in many restaurants. It’s a small but meaningful touch that speaks volumes about their commitment to inclusivity and guest comfort.

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with love. Every bite was a delight, and I will absolutely be coming back to try more from the menu. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the customer service, especially from our server, Austin. He went above and beyond to make our visit memorable, even surprising my son with a birthday cake. A gesture that meant so much to us. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference, and I cannot thank him enough for making our visit extra special.

I wholeheartedly recommend Annie’s Café to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming environment, and outstanding service. It’s a place that feels like home, where every guest is treated with warmth and thoughtfulness. We will absolutely...
