Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Bowling Green

Was expecting to price hunt and find some great buys, like I do in Louisville. All of the things I normally buy were more expensive in bgreen GFS. We live in Hart county, so it's a toss up on Wich is closer... But the pricing difference has. Made our minds up. And appears to have done it for others, too.. one other car in lot the entire time we shopped. One. In Louisville, there are rows of cars. Very evident that no one is shopping in bgreen. If all times are as we seen them, then they can't last much longer. Prices per ounce are higher than any other local grocer. Don't believe me? Break items down by ounces, and compare. Though GFS brand is often just as good, it is not all the time, and I don't feel like we should pay name brand prices for non brand food, especially when I have to buy 6 x the amount, just to get Kroger pricing. Go somewhere else, for name brands, for cheaper, for actual help, for a cashier that's not stone, and for help bagging (at this price they should load my car! ), But overall, for better prices. This place is out of line on grocery prices locally. It's sad. I was so hoping it...

This is great place to buy meats in bulk for freezing. Some things are a little overpriced, so be sure to compare prices with other stores. I shared this a couple of weeks ago. Was back just today 8/01/23 and found new people working there and it was not a pleasant experience this time. Ask about a item that was on sell and the cashier acted as if she didn't know what I'm talking about and just proceeded to check me out. While I was scanning my card, she walks over to another worker which I presumed was the Mgr and whispered to her what I had ask about. I then had to show her in my phone what was on sell. They weren't very friendly or helpful at all. The company needs to have more training for their team on friendly customer service. There was no hello or thank you from...
