I have purchased and sold many pistols and rifles from these guys over the last 5-10 years. They always remember you and treat you great. My best experience in a gun store ever: I bought a Vortex Viper PST Gen II at a blemished price due to a simple gouge in the battery cover turn slot (who cares) and the first time I took it out, it would not zero on a high end AR build. I noticed the windage turret seemed to be wiggling pretty seriously within the scope housing (definitely not supposed to happen even on a cheap Vortex) and figured they’d give me the “you bought it cheap” excuse when I spoke up. Instead, I called and explained the issue, and before even seeing it in person, they overnighted a new scope (without the gouge this time) and handled the entire return process through Vortex (who can be dic*s on the phone) and all I had to do was drop off my old scope and take the new one home. The new scope works flawlessly and all things considered, I got the deal of a lifetime (I won’t tell you the price I paid because I can’t expect them to do that every time)...spend your money here if possible. I support all the local gun stores, but these guys are top notch and have great brands to offer....
Read moreI called and asked about crossbows they had some Hortons left (who is now out of business and the bows have no warranty) They said they would sell the Hortons for less than the "sticker" price. (Since they want to get rid of them now that Horton will not stand behind them and could not be fixed if anything went wrong with them) So I went over there to pick one up and once I got there they would not honor what they told me. Although the older man said they would take less a younger guy was very short and said they would take no less the the sticker price! BAIT & SWITCH......It wasted 2 hours of my time and about $15 in gas. Everything they sell is 15% higher than one can buy at other places.....I guess when your the only game in town "Bradford" you can charge more? I priced calls, scent, arrows, scouting cameras ALL were almost 20% and higher than Wal Mart...
Read moreI just moved from Dallas. I am used to people doing everything they can to make a sale and make their customers happy. They don't do that here. You walk in and no one even acknowledges you. No one asks if you need help or are you looking for something. Every time I go in there everyone is gathered around the cashier hanging out talking about themselves. I literally walked all the way around the cash register looking for something specific and no one even acknowledged me. I would assume that you are passionate about being outdoors and what not and you'd want to help people get involved in the nature that surrounds them. But nope. There are other places to buy the stuff they sell so I will go to those places. Really disappointed...
